I'm no expert, but I know what I like. And I like this a lot Dylan. Those bunkers look amazing man. Chin up fella.

Why are you calling it bland? Because there is nothing really exciting about the hole routing or texturing the planting will be when it’s done very minimal and It’s going to play like a boring parkland course which there are som many already. But thanks for trying to support it haha.

Looking solid Dylan. The pics look like a real course! Good luck! Not liking my chances, LOL!

Thanks gamesdecent for the suggestions and even though it doesn’t give me a much better chance making the cut it’s still good to see an improvement. This course needs some spicing up and It’s really hard to look at this and say it’s good. I’m just going to expect the same result I had with Empire Pines. Maybe worse. But I still thank you for the help!

Really different feel to the other courses I’ve seen and it is totally different to Empire Pines - there, I think the super narrow fairways limited you (although I totally understand why they were so narrow). This looks much more natural and look forward to trying to avoid the bunkers - which, by the way, I thought were good on Empire Pines. As ever, you are way better than you think you are. What’s your best hole currently?

What’s your best hole currently? It’s one of these three. But I don’t really have a wow hole anywhere, they are just ok. But then the rest is just so boring to look at. These are not finished with the sculpting of the fairway and planting yet.

The par 3’s at Melrose... Still terrible but I tried. I mean, they are the best par 3’s I’ve made but it’s trash. Hole 3: Hole 7: Hole 11: Hole 15:

Hole 3: Hole 7: Hole 11: Hole 15: If that's trash, I'll be scared ****less when you make a hole you think looks good! Have some confidence in yourself lad, and own what you put out there.

Not quite sure what holes you are looking at Dylan. The ones on my screen look varied, intimidating and beautifully sculpted...

This course looks super realistic and like it's existed for many years. Reminds a lot of the very old public courses I've played locally with the rolling terrain and bunkering style. I definitely dig it and I'm sure the simulator crowd will enjoy it as well.

I definitely dig it and I'm sure the simulator crowd will enjoy it as well. Hadn't even thought of that, but you're absolutely right that the sim crowd is going to like this more than just about any other fictional course I can think of. Also, Dylan, if I had built holes with the quality you have after just 10 months using the designer, I'd be one of the top 5 designers in the community right now. Almost all of the elite courses you see, especially in competitions, are from designers who have spent 2+ years at least refining their ideas and improving the technical side to their skillset. P.S. You haven't shown the people even a single pic of 14? As soon as you can, you need to change that.

Idk. This hole is kind of okay. Still pretty bad compared to everyone else in the contest.

Idk if you’re looking at a different course or what, these pictures look great!

Possibly the most boring course and hole in the contest but whatever.
