So I finished the rough layout of the rest of the back 9 and from the Tee Boxes for the Contest I am measuring at a 6861 yard par 70 course featuring 10 par 4s, 5 par 3s, and 3 par 5s. I calculated the average for each hole and used that to convert to an approximation of the Par 72 yardage (converting one of the Par 3s into an average length (for this course) Par 5 for a 4/10/4 format) which yields a yardage of 7,286. Obviously it wouldn't be quite that simple to convert as none of the Par 3s are right on the "average" distance but this satisfied my curiosity for having a frame of reference for how long the course plays as currently routed.
In the current routing the course has the following required elements:
- Driveable Par 4 (The Minnesota green 18th hole pictured above) - At least 1 Par 3 over 230 yards (256 yard 8th hole) - At least 3 par 4s under 400 yards (Currently 4) - At least 1 3 shot Par 5 - At least 5 Par 3s (5 Par 3s with 3 on the front and 2 on the back)
In the current state of semi finished holes there are also - At least 2 bunkerless holes - At least 1 blind tee shot (defined as landing area is blind off the tee)
Definitely making progress on this and I'm looking forward to sculpting and laying surfaces down on the back 9 and having a full playable 18 holes.

My day got off to a disastrous start when I booked up and found all my save data was corrupted and all courses including my CC course was gone. After trying everything including a full reinstall of the game on my Xbox and having no luck I set out to get started on a new version with only 21 days until the deadline.
I've settled on a coastal highlands course and was able to get two fully playable holes down this afternoon. I will have to keep designing at a manic pace to get this published in time but it is still my goal to do so.
I haven't decided on a new name for this course, as although it is a links style course I don't feel like the Links as Lebanon Hills fits any longer as the original course was named after Lebanon Hills park as I was attempting to utilize local terrain.
Hopefully I'll have another hole down tonight, along with a new name and some pictures of my progress!

I really love the overcast look. Must be brave enough to try that on one of my future courses. I think it adds so much mystery for whatever reason. Looking good man.

Planning some marathon design streams this weekend as I try to finish this thing in the next 10 days! Got a long way to go still but I am hopeful of having a fully playable course by the deadline even if a second version needs to be released cleaning some things up and beautifying.

Will follow along and look forward to it. As I've said to you before, I honestly like the look of this better than the Delta you had going, even though it won't be as polished. Everything crossed for you!
