In a perfect world all this stuff is tracked neatly on site for me and there's a simple way to send someone to a timeout for a specified period of time. But there isn't so every time someone makes a suggestion it usually requires a lot of manual tracking and admin or for Tim to do more coding for something that affects very few on the site. For those of you that have an issue with guys failing multiple api and not facing punishment - I'm problably not going to appease your concerns to the degree you want. so for now you'll have to accept the status quo. Trust me, the guys getting pulled multiple times are just as frustrated with it as you guys are. Intent is a pain in the arse to prove and once again only speaking from a PC side, I know personally a simple thing like an unexpected updated driver on a GPU, Mouse and even Windows 10 itself can completely change the swing path and timing, both for the worse and for the better. I've had in the past an update come in and suddenly I'm hitting arrows and throwing darts, I've also had an update come in and every swing is outside the cone and tempo is non-existent. Both scenarios require investigation to see what was updated and then either tweaking things or most times rolling back the driver and simply not using it. I can only imagine controllers on PC have it worse cause they can't tweak certain settings and rolling back drivers may be the only option. PS4/XBox will have fewer updates than PC of course. I agree with Doyley when he says there is equal frustration on the folks getting pulled because they are probably just as much in the dark as to why it happens and buying a new controller each time just gets silly, not to mention expensive.
That being said, made the cut on first PGA tour. Yay!!!!! Ty to the Admin for doing their best & trying to be fair all around.

-49 total for me.
I have to be delighted with that score, especially as I had a very erratic and inconsistent swing for rounds one and two. Not the tempo so much (although I did have a couple of unwanted fast downswing approaches), I just couldn't find the middle of the backswing, which led quite a few wayward shots and putts. I did hole a bunker shot from 20 yards on the fourth from a 70% lie in round two after a terrible approach, an absolute bonus as I was staring bogey in the face there.
I took a ten minute break and when I returned I started to hit it much more consistently in the final two rounds, the controller felt so much better in my hands, which increased my confidence massively, allowing me to take on more risky shots.
Back to back 57's over the weekend, with a birdie birdie finish was nice. I did make a bogey in round four, but I think that I went birdie, eagle, birdie? straight after to get going again. I had a 77% one putt stat in round four, compared to around 55% in round one.
The course is a very good recreation, you have to really concentrate to go low: especially on those tricky 8 to 10 footers when hole high.
Good luck all still to finish.

Well... my score got pulled... kinda expected it since I played starting cold, not playing much anymore, and I wasn't relax at all.. I had trouble with my swing, as in too many short swings creeping up today.. Anyways, for people that think that it's done on purpose, trust me it's not... and as Doyley saiys, it very frustrating for all sides! No thanks to HB!

Yeah, intent is impossible to prove... a complete unwillingness to look facts in the face and act on the feedback you are given is another thing entirely (surely this only applies to a small selection of people getting pulled?). Drivers / Dpi etc just isn’t a thing on console... Definition of madness? Regardless of how frustrated people may get, and how unfair they may think it is... the game, swing and API are not going to change. The user has to change, or rinse, repeat and start again.

Nothing more really to add to the bolded red points. But hey - we're only the poor (legitimate) medium players who have to see the multiple-time offenders ahead of us on the leaderboards on their 'just the right side of the line' weeks.....

You could just pull the stick all the way back and push it all the way forward. It’s no guarantee of the darts you’ll have become used to, but it’s the way the game was designed to be played.

While I appreciate the transparency and candor, this proves a minimal awareness of the situation and an intent to at least teeter the fence. “kinda expected it” “trouble with my swing” “too many short swings creeping up” When failing the API means producing results that are supposedly impossible by 99.9% of normal players, this has become silly.

Have to say I'm a bit perplexed at the reason given, i.e. that he's been out of practice. I'd have thought lack of practice would make your swing much, much worse, rather than being so awesome that it gets you DQ'd. When I don't play even for a few days it takes me a bunch of rounds before I can develop a groove to not swing like a total muppet. Struggling to imagine myself coming back from a break and casually firing lasers lol

But of course, no intent shown! Just “frustrating” and HB’s fault. Please.

It's like real life golf Mike - you know, when you rock up on the first tee without warming up and can't make that full swing till about the 4th / 5th hole (till your back loosens up a bit) - Dom can only make a short flick till his fingers warm up............after 72 holes....

2nd round was a -6 for me. Sitting at -15 after two rounds. Couldn't hit the green the first 3 holes as I had 2 slow downswings and one fast and the first 4 holes of produced +1 with a crappy 3-putt on 4. Finally found a rhythm of some sort and knocked out 7 birdies in the last 14 holes. Made the cut and hoping to put together 2 good weekend rounds and see if I can finish higher in the standings. Like to get a top 25 but we'll see how the ball rolls. I was playing in another society last night and I feel like I found a swing that can be a bit more consistent, so we'll see how that translates into these rounds. Probably just a one-night hot streak for me where I ended up around -42 or so on this same Quail Hollow course. We shall see though, good luck to everyone who's finishing up their rounds!
