Hitting a green shouldn’t mean that your next shot is impossible, that’s just stupid and in my opinion very poor designing Sounds like the 9th at Augusta - hit the wrong tier and putt downhill and you're 40 yards off the green - but we can all agree that's a dogs breakfast of a course too right No reply?? You seemed so interested earlier???

Ray, take a break. You aren't doing yourself any favours.
Anyway - -8, +1 for me. No idea if that'll make the cut - assuming not! Wasn't the fault of the course though, just me. Really enjoyed the course itself. Might play my final 2 just for the fun of it.

I would be happy to use this course on tour again, it is the second time I have used it on the web and yours is the first complaint I got. Unfortunately it’s hard to take your complaining seriously when complaining is a constant focus of your posts and you then attack anyone that dares to reply to you. I have adjusted settings and course selections based on feedback from others numerous times but never from people that are always moaning as it’s impossible to know if the are trolling, b%&ing because they did not play well and can not accept responsibility for their own bad shots or if there is a genuine reason for their complaint. This course was set up the way it was, to punish poor shots to the greens. Over punishing, maybe but that was my choice, all setups, conditions are all down to me, and each week will bring a challenge, a few weeks ago, we had elevation, which you complained about, last week, you complained about the course being all about luck, after you had another bad round, yet others were shooting low in that round and it was not all down to luck. Strangely enough, you did not complain the week before that, but I will quote you,”Enjoyed the course a lot. Funny how that happens when you don’t play as bad” so you can see why your complaints are taken with a pinch of salt. Anyway, I have no issues with you complaining, if you want to attack someone, I am right here, but I do not appreciate you having a go at the designers or any other member of this tour. This is not the pga, people here show respect to each other, both on the forums and in personal messages to me. Every issue on the web.com stops with me, not the designers, rangers( who do a amazing job but can not possibly test every single blade of grass on a course) or the admins, who have handed the responsibility of this tour to me. Feel free to contact me at anytime.

Lol. Ok. I explained fairly clearly what my problem with the course was, repeatedly. No one has showed me the shot I should have played, which is what I’ve asked for, repeatedly - because the shot is impossible. The designer chose to ignore my description of what I thought was wrong and got pissy, that’s on him. Other people chose to throw their two cents in then not reply to my questions in return, so why should I give a crap about what they say? Anyone else want to jump on board? Feel free, I have zero respect for most of you, and couldn’t care less about your opinions of me.

Got all my rounds in today and shot pretty well for myself.
-8 -8 -8 -9 -33 total.
Very consistent rounds from me...left some birdies there no doubt but i also made some putts i don't normally make so it kind of evened itself out. Overall...gotta say i did really enjoy this course even though the greens are borderline unfair in some cases. Most were well done and i enjoyed the thought process i had to go through to try and judge my approaches. However, there were some instances that i just don't get how you can even play a shot that ends up ok. Hole 9 round 2 the pin is up on front on the lowest tier wind in your face. I hit a club long trying to kill it on the next tier up-slope because you can't run a shot up the front because of the elevation. I hit it perfect and right where i think i need to land it and hits the slope and rolls back towards the hole and off the green and i'm left with about a 15 yard chip. Then hole 16 round 3 with the pin in the back left corner and there is 3 maybe 4 tiers...i hit my iron perfect again and it hits the green and the back fringe to the right a bit and rolls down not 1 but every tier till i am left with a 47 yard chip shot. I get getting punished by not hitting such precise shots and ok fine send me down a tier from the back part of the green but come on how can you send a shot at the back of the green completely off the front of the green? I would love to know how you are supposed to hit these shots. There were plenty of these greens where if i didn't hit it perfect i go down a tier...that's a fun challenge but what happened on these two instances is beyond me.

I think practice rounds are NEEDED on this course. I think I know one of the holes Ray is speaking of: the pin is to the right of the green on a bottom tier. It's a long iron shot that's easy to leave on the top tier. The putt to the hole cannot be made because the roll is too fast, and a miss runs clear off the green. First of all, a bad approach is a bad approach whether you made a bad shot or xbox inconsistency played a part (i play on xbox, too). What are you supposed to do? Not try to knock down the pin. I haven't seen a pin yet with an unmakeable putt unless your approach was bad. 2 and 3 weeks ago a 2 inch miss could be a 20 foot rollout and nearly impossible putt. Those were way more tricked up than this course. Nearly every slope goes towards the holes here. How to stop rolling? Skill. I'm not trying to be a jerk, there are ways (loft, fade/draw into the wind) to control rollout. The courses from 2 and 3 weeks ago felt like anything but perfect was a big miss. First round on this course I had a couple bad approaches but still had difficult but makeable putts.
The one thing I think players don't like is when the "hazards" are slopes in the terrain. There's not a ton of bunkers in play and not much water. So the "hazards" (i.e. punishment for a bad shot) are in landing on a top tier, or hitting a slope that runs off the fairway. It's so easy to to hit a 290+ yard drive in the fairway (unlike real life) that designers have to get strategy in there somewhere. Hit the ball straight, knock down the pin, flat putt... that would be boring.
If you dont like the course, that's fine. Personally I think template courses are boring and over manufactured. I have yet to see one I enjoyed playing. I like courses like this. Personal preference. But it's not a garbage design because you dont like it.

So a I just need more skill, and I’ll be able to change physics and stop balls magically? I’ll look forward to one day being that good.
Glad at least one other person sees sense, and doesn’t disagree just because of who said it.
Cool. I’ll work on it 😂
And for the people who a pic of my leg offended - it was a celebration of me being able to walk again. It wasn’t porn, it didn’t show an open wound - ***cleaned the rest of this up***

I occasionally enjoy “normal” courses, but enjoy the ones that are a little different more. This course is a blast, enjoy using the slopes and getting a little creative, you just have to take the approach of under no circumstances will I leave this on the upper tier. Understand it’s not for everyone but there’s probably a handful of courses that everyone loves.

-6, -10, -5, -6. Or something like that. -27 total. Had my first albatross on the tour on hole 7 in the 2nd rd. Played a big slice, shot by the hole, rolled all the way back and in.
I like the big fringes. Dont think I've seen that before. Overall I thought it's a really nice course. The only issue I have is that 251 yard par 3. I think most people carry a 2w, but am I supposed to carry a 5w or something for this one shot? I delofted a 1i because of the slope up to the hole. Almost never hit a perfect/perfect when changing loft that much. I dont know if it gets more sensitive or what. Plus add the accuracy cone is waayyyy smaller. Long par 3, fine. Just thought there should be an area you can settle to and attempt a long, 30 feet or so, putt that you can make. Other than that I thought it was a lot of fun. Nice work.

Well, I know I'm not the worlds greatest putter...... Some of these greens didn't improve that for me -7 -11 -6 -9 For a total of -33 ALMOST got an albi in R2, had a 1 inch putt for eagle Only came across 1 pin that was actually illegal, and that was in R4, landing approaches close was the key, when I didn't, I bogied. Hoping for my 1st promo mark since Jan. Fingers Crossed

Of course, i shoot -2 in the 2nd round to get to -13 @ the cut.. i think i should be safe, but i should have shot at least -8, my putting sucked. i would like 4 decent rounds for once.
