Dream Team Design Competition
Welcome to the Dream Team Design Competition!
Sign Ups are now open and will remain open until Thursday April 11th at 11:59pm eastern time (U.S.). Field size will be anywhere from 8-20 designers contingent on who signs up. Once signed up you have entered yourself into a pool from which SindreRev and myself Trayys will have a draft on this upcoming Saturday April 13th deciding which team and team members you will go to battle with. Each person will make their own course, you will have the freedom to make any kind of 18 hole non par 3 course you'd like to help your team. The competition starts the day after the draft on Sunday April 14th meaning you may start designing your course on that day and no earlier. The window to finish your course will last roughly 4 months, ending on August 11th!! This contest will get competitive but is aimed to have fun and enjoy a team environment. Threads will be created for both teams to share ideas, pictures, general thoughts, and overall to gain experience in the designer! Designers who normally wouldn't do a major contest should feel comfortable joining this. These guidelines are meant to make the contest process a lot less stressful, with a longer time frame and encouraging a team aspect to alleviate some pressure throughout. We have a great panel of judges with tons of designing experience! Ultimately this competition is meant to have blast, so sign up and get ready to meet your team next week! (P.S. Note: This is not an official TGC Tours design contest, the CC Design Contest is coming up & we are not attempting or aiming to pull anyone away from that competition.
