Really liked the risk/reward choices with driver. Can see it as a tour course with the narrow fairways. played tough with average tempo. Liked the greens, tough without being crazy. 4 Stars 👍

Hey Eric, I know I already sent you a PM on this course, but just wanted to put a comment here as well for everyone... I really loved the look you created with this course. You nailed the more open pinestraw look which is really difficult to do in this game. It's really cool when you contrast this "open" feel here at The Mantis with what you did for The Greens at Old Buckhead, which had a more heavily planted and secluded feel to it. Both were unique and both looked fantastic, well done! If you haven't checked this out make sure you do!

Looks like a highlight video is incoming after I wrap up my rounds in casuals.. had to leave in the middle of round 2 but currently -24 through 30 holes. I think that's off the pace for the low winds. Even so, the CGE scores will likely give an indication of how difficult it would play as the US Open. If you want I'll send you the top 10 when it's over. Keep an eye out for the vid later, should be an entertaining one

CGE should play significantly easier than US Open tees and conditions. |

Bump  Judging by the length of this course, if this existed IRL I'd have to have a custom set of forward tees made. I'm probably the most useless golfer out of all of us (but I'm a junior and whatnot). However, this course plays brilliantly and the mulch gives it a real kick. I'm not scared to play it off the 8000 yard tees either (if I can stop hitting red fasts)... |

Just played. What a brute! Managed to hold on for a +2. Even heading to 18 and then x2 balls in the water. Great aesthetic and a stern test. Loved it! Planning on playing the par 3 course next to (hopefully!) calm my nerves.

Awesome track, really challenging. Played about as well as i could and shot -10 (suggested day 4 settings except Firm/Fast greens)
