Just noticed something interesting in stats....there's an Ace listed for #18 on the Hole by Hole stats....seems.....unlikely.
Edit: I found the source of it...someone's scorecard shows a 1 for the par 5 on the scorecard details but the overall score is correct on the main leaderboard.

I was going to write something like that. I went to observe the most difficult holes and I came across ACE (of par 5!) Of John Santonella - PS4 Tonhead13. I'm going to follow his ghost. No 18 has 17 eagles. Maybe the ace is possible.
But I have not trained the field yet. I do not know the distance from this hole. God knows where my game went this week! +3 1st round and -1 2nd round!!!!! Pretty sure I will finish bottom this week....nothing at all went my way...every bounce went the wrong way and most putts were millimeters from dropping!! One of them weeks where someone is against you up there! haha ...onwards and upwards..tempo was spot on both rounds so that's the one good thing to come out of it. Always next week to put it right 😀 good luck everyone else

Basically missed every one of my birdie putts early on by inches. Had one putt from the fringe sit on the front lip. Missed a 5 foot par on 8 after barely missing sinking the chip. Fast downswing on my drive on 11, fast downswing on my drive on 12, slow downswing on my drive on 13, hit the tree on my drive on 14. Ended up in greenside bunkers on both par 5s on the back 9. Finished the round at -5. Scorecard says 26 putts but was really 28 with 2 putts an inch or two onto the fringe within 20 feet.
Started the second round off missing another birdie from 14 feet, then I actually sank a 9 foot eagle on 2. Missed a 10 foot par on 5. Hit a 211 club (5 hybrid), lofted, with a roughly 10 mph tailwind, 265 way over the green on 6 and ended up missing the 15 foot par. Slow downswing off the tee on 8 (a disproportionate number of my off-tempo tee shots seem to come on par 3s), lipped out a 7 foot par. Missed an 8 foot birdie on 10. Missed a 14 foot birdie on 11. Somehow made a 26 foot birdie on 12. Eagle flop on 13 was 4 inches short. 3-putted from 16 feet for bogey on 14. Left my eagle putt on 15 9 inches right. Missed birdie putts on 16 and 17, finished with a -3, which will be a missed cut.
-8 overall. On 2, 12, 13, and 15, I was a combined -9; on the other 14 holes I was a combined +1.

It is a mistake. Impossible to arrive with a shot.

Agreed. Seems he actually eagled it and the overall round score and the leaderboard is correct; the leaderboard score of -10 (61) is 2 shots worse than the scorecard detail score of -12 (59). All seems well, but an odd one for sure.

Basically a "meh" round. Struck the ball well, had good tempo but just didn't get the rolls. A couple of the driveable holes, I would hit an amazing shot, get the bounce I wanted and it just rolled that extra inch to take a 10ft eagle putt and make it a 15 yard eagle chip. Seems I was always just on the wrong side of either just not making it up a rise on the hill or having it just trickle enough down the slope and off the green. I made some good putts to keep myself around but had to chip in on #18 for an eagle just to reach -8. A disappointment after achieving -10 to -14 on previous rounds. It truly is all about the bounces, even if you have the best course management.
For me when I take into account my shot selection, my distances, my tempo and putting I really feel I should have been 3 to 5 strokes better and the only reason I'm not is a few unlucky rolls. Hopefully the luck will swing back my way in round 2.

After one round. 4 shots separate 1st from 32nd. 1 shot separates 24th and the top 10.
So even with a substandard round, one good round of a -9 or -10 can get you right back into contention.

-9 in round 1, and round 2 was weird, started off with a beautiful hole out eagle on hole 1, followed by sloppy pars on 2 and 3. Made a bad swing on 17 and a bogey. Managed a -10 to get to -19 at the weekend.

I mean it wouldn't be fun if the same people won every week 😏

Made a few silly mistakes but played OK overall. -31. Think that it will probably see me in the top 20, but probably one or two strokes out of the top 10.
