Played 4 rounds today without the glitch. Yay.... How's it playing generally Mike? Well again I played a glitch free 1st round at tgctours. I shutdown the console on hole 8 2nd round. Came back later and two glitch putts in a row then a few more glitch swings and that was that. Hope it's fixed soon.

Anyone else had this happen to them ? It’s hole 1 or 2 on this week’s CUCC tournament. It’s happened to me on the last two tournaments I’ve played. I’m told it might be related to the new console .... Is it happening to anyone else ? I thought it was just related to one course but clearly isn’t gamerdvr.com/gamer/red-rhinoceros/video/116918954Happened to me on this weed's tgctours rounds - once on putting - once off the tee. There are a number of users in the xbox only thread (under clubhouse) reporting the same.. HB needs to patch Other than the occasional glitch - which of course is on Xbox - the game is a bit smoother IMO..

Chief Banks I'm going to sit out the coming season. Much like you actually, I'm not really enjoying the grind at the moment and need to recharge a bit. I do plan on requalifying for the next one. Sorry if this messes you about.

Sorry if this messes you about. Sad to here this Jamie. You are one of the most enthusiastic people for TGC series. I played the game too much early on and now play 2 rds to 3 rds daily even on off days and my play has gotten more consistent. The smartest thing to stop playing is tours. With the PS4 and Steam obviously being to easy for us to compete aside from one or two great rounds it really is a waste of time. With that said take some time off it'll do you good. Stop calling it a grind though. That to me is the fun part trying to figure your way around a course when your stinking it up.

Look forward to my rounds each week for CUCC and also S&M - Can't seem to shoot worth a sh!t in either - but I keep coming back. I seem to do fine tee to fairway - am a little off fairway to green - and lately putting has really gone sideways. Add in a swing glitch or two and that is recipe for bad rounds. I'm fine with the random tempo - I think I've got the swing down to where I know when I don't get a perfect DS - and of course that random VF or VS that will undoubtedly get you into the drink. I usually plug along most courses at E or as good as -3 or so and then have the one or two holes where Jekyll comes out and I hit the triple or quad - usually on the aforementioned water holes.. I think the competition structure in CUCC and SM are done well - never feel like I have no chance (even though I really don't, LOL). Anyway, really do appreciate what you do here for CUCC Chief Banks and also xcltaff1980 for S&M - it's really a shame to see so many people dropping from frustration - I guess you can't please them all. I would imagine if the game were easier and scores were same or better than 2019 - you'd get the other side of the fence complaining it's too easy.. So, forward we move - again, hoping the likes of CUCC and S&M continue - if not, then I will definitely have a few voids in my week!

In my opinion you need to master 2 parts of the game to be competive on xbox. Seems to me long chipping as opposed to the funky splash shot and putting are my strongest points. Tempo I'll never totally get but when I do get good tempo I will shoot great scores (very rare indeed). Also the designer is keeping me more interested in the game now more than ever.

Yes, I will be getting back into the designer..Have started a new track on PC - but went into the designer on the series X and WOW what a difference - I think I'm going to go back to the XB for design - I prefer using the tv display anyway and used a controller on PC -- so there's nothing for me to get used to.. AS for long chipping - I found that the dreaded Pitch shot has become my friend lately. The key - with the intended distance set - perform the swing with the same 'TIMING' as you would at regular 100% distance. I still have a few here and there that I hit poorly, but overall it's been working out nicely. With the shorter distance intent set - the animation is slower - but if you use the same timing - it 'should' work well - so if your normal 100% dist swing is 2 seconds - and you set intent - use the same 2 second timing regardless of what the animation does.. Give it a try on the range..

I have gotten a bit better at pitching but the slow is so far fetched from reality that I am always nervous using it especially with water in front of green. So now that the new series X is basically as powerful as a gaming computer do they allow you to use the drone like the steam version? Why it's only on steam is very stupid as many many many games allow drone usage.

Still no fly around feature with the series X..

Just a reminder these are the people that should only be playing The Placement Tourney this week in order to be apart of next CUCC season 2.

Just a reminder these are the people that should only be playing The Placement Tourney this week in order to be apart of next CUCC season 2. I'm in the clubhouse at -6. I feel pretty good about that due to the conditions and with how tight the course was. I felt great getting out with par on a lot of holes. I noticed that you created it, great job, I really enjoyed my rounds and the challenge. I also loved having to use the shop shaper around the trees and having to think through my shots rather than grip and rip.
