Celtic Wolf Pat, Once Greg is confortable with the spreadsheets, do you think it is a good idea to link it to your first post? Just to have it in one spot that everyone will know where look?

My R1 is in the bag. Incredibly up and down: 1 Eagle 7 Birdies 4 Bogies 2 putts <6 feet missed -5 total Hopefully some of those birdies and the eagle contribute to some points on the team side of things. Ge get em, billybudd0623.

Well, Bill's Brigade, a throng of 15-20 people who showed up to cheer on 'their guy' was entertained today. This was either a great round or a sucky round, depends on how you look at it. The Brigade must have thought they were seeing the 2nd coming of Seve. Driving accuracy - 57% GIR 66%. This was the lowest % of the year for both for me. The 2 par fives were played in +1 and I was lucky to get that +1 on those 2 holes. I was going to be smart and took out my 9 iron and put in another long club in the bag. (Great choice by me as I could have used the 9 iron 3 times) The good...my scrambling was off the charts as I had to save many pars as my above low % suggests. The front side ended with a -4 score of 31. The back nine was more of the same as I bogied the par 5 12th but birdied 4 of the last 6 for a 32 on the back for a total of 63 or -7. I battled a fast tempo the whole round. My round scorecard is in cc-c.
Don't know where I heard it, but I agree that this course has a 'manufactured difficulty' to it. That said, we all have to play the same course. hoosierjoe Joe, we may come out ok after we put these things together.

First round complete and shot a -8 [62]. I was trying for a bogie free round and was doing very well until the 18th. Poorly played flop shot and just missed the putt. I think club selection in your bag for Pro club users is important on this course so I will be making some changes before round 2.
Good luck to all teams. Leon, first of all , great score. I totally agree about the club selection being very important. I put an extra long iron in my bag for round 1 but took out the wrong short iron. Good luck the rest of the week.

Rounds 2 and 3 complete.
Round 2 -10 [60] with 11 birdies, 6 pars and 1 bogey. Golfing gods looked after me on hole 15, in the water off the tee, dropped shot from the tee landed on the green and left myself a 24 or 25 foot putt for par and slotted it into the cup.
Round 3 -10 [60] with 10 birdies and 8 pars.
Really happy with my play so far on this course but if I had to pick a highlight it would be my putting. Something has just clicked with my putting on this course.

At least I’ve been able to chuck in a couple of good holes to help us out. Keep it up Leon.

Here's my scores for the 2nd round - 3-2-4-4-2-3-3-4-3-3-3-4-2-4-3-4-4-3
I noticed Avery had already posted a round of -11, so I had a lot of work to do to keep up. So it was great to card a -12 round, me and Les complimented each other on our rounds.

Match #3, Round 1 Fourball
Bill Owensby (CC-C) & Joe Gates (CC-C) Vs James Roffey (CC-B) & Paul Bradford (CC-B)
This match showcases 4 Dirtbag veterans returning from season 1. The fans expected a great match, and a great match is what they got in round 1. Roffey & Bradford jumped out to a quick lead after a birdie from Bradford on hole #1. That lead was quickly back to AS once Owensby found the lone birdie on #2. Roffey scores the only birdie on hole 4 to bring Roffey & Bradford back to UP 1. Gates cards an amazing eagle on #5 to bring the match back to AS and the fans start to see they are in for a real treat, especially the 15-20 that came to catch a glimpse of Owensby. Hole 6 was once again birdied by both Roffey & Bradford to go back to UP1. Owensby & Gates caught fire with birdies at 8 and 9 against back to back pars. Match goes out with Owensby and Gates now sitting UP 1. After a couple dogs at the turn, both teams came out matching hole for hole until…. BOOM! Bradford bangs in an eagle on hole 15 to once again get the match to AS. Bradford again cards a birdie on the very tough 17th par 3 to put the pair UP 1 with one to play. Owensby & Gates both birdie 18, but with ice in his veins, Bradford also makes birdie to close out an incredible round 1. Roffey & Bradford win UP 1
Roffey (2pts), Bradford (2pts), Owensby (0pts), Gates(0pts)

Round 2 Match 4 Four total hole score
Ashton Fox (64) & Kevin McGuire (69) vs Simon Morris (67) & Leon Keet (68) After their epic first round clash, big crowds gathered to see if Team McFox could gain revenge over Team Meet (that sounded better than Morriet). Simon and Leon opened up with a birdie blitz and took the first two holes. McFox steadied the ship halving holes 3 and 4. From the short fifth they unleashed a barrage of sub-par scoring, carding just a solitary par and five birdies in the next three holes. This turned the match in their favour as Meet couldn't match their form. Two halved holes saw the match reach the turn with the North Americans leading by one point, as they had in their first meeting. Pars weren't enough on 10 and 11 for the Brits as they slipped further behind as Ashton in particular continued his great play. 3 down with seven to play could have led to collapse but Simon and Leon seem made of sterner stuff. Both birdied the par 5 and the hourglass green par 3 and that was enough to retrieve 2 of their deficit. Five holes to go they needed a couple of sparkling holes to complete the Cinderella comeback. Two halved holes saw the match reach the potentially tricky par 4 16th. Their nerve held to win the hole in par and now it's squeaky bum time. Neither side could gain an advantage on the two closing holes leaving the match tied. Whilst both might feel a little underwhelmed by the result it was another great match providing entertainment to those on the sidelines. Just realised the team name for Simon and Leon should have been Moet, for their Champagne Supernova (just for Paul) brand of golf. Morris & Keet halved with Fox & McGuire 5 pts to 5 pts
Simon Morris (1pt) Leon Keet (1pt) Ashton Fox (1pt) Kevin McGuire (1pt)
