Beautiful hole in one !!! I would like HB to include the possibility of practicing isolated holes (example: I just want to train the par 3). Practicing the whole field, several times, is tiring. I've been asking this since The Golf Club One (2014) Practicing round 3 and got this gem. Second albatross in 2 weeks. Maybe this will be a trend! I can only hope. It lead to a -17 round in practice. That would also be awesome.

It wasn't a hole-in-one it was an albatross.

Putting was pretty good for the most part, except I missed a 7 footer on 8 in the second round, plus 4 11-13 footers I should have made. Then I missed a 10 foot par on 17 in the second round and missed a 12 foot birdie on 18. I had been -22 for the tournament through 13 in the second round, and I played the last 5 holes at +1. Was inches away from an albatross in the first round and inches away from a hole in one in the second. -21 at least gives me a shot at top 10 but I really should have been around -24 or -25 at this point. Gonna hold off on my last 2 rounds based on how poorly I ended the second round.

Honestly I would feel better if - 16 misses as well cause I missed a 20 footer for birdie on 18 which was very close. Anyway my putting isn't good enough at the moment for these kind of courses and that combined with the wind was not a good combination. I'm sure there will better weeks for me. I hope not I’m on -16 LOL....but it wouldn’t shock me. I missed a handful of short ones in the last few holes. Like real golf this game can be streaky and frustrating!
Praying my -16 holds up as well today. I'll probably check the leaderboards 10+ times through my workday lol

I think it's going to hold but I'll exhale when I see it tomorrow morning. As of 9:15am eastern I count 3 guys who've played R1 but not R2 that are all but a sure-bet to get to -17 or better when they play their R2. There's another 4 guys in the -5 to -7 zone yet to play their R2 that could conceivably put up a really good r2 and jump to -17. Let's say maybe 1 of those guys does that. That makes 4 and -bumps -16 to T66. There are almost definitely a few people who will swoop in last minute and play both their rounds today, but are there 5 that will do so and shoot -17 or better and knock -16 out? Given only 36% of those who have finished both rounds have shot -17 or better so far, it's doubtful but not impossible. That'll be the determining factor; last minute entries. If I was forced to bet I'd put my money on -16 making it with a few slots to spare, but I wouldn't feel great about it.

Round 3 in the books. Missed two putts I absolutely should have had just forgot to hit it. Made up for it with a 25+ foot eagle. Overall typical round for putting. I get 5 or 6 longer putts and if I make 2 or 3 that is about average. First round I made them all, second round made none, so it all evens out in the end.
-13 to give me a chance I think. Total -38 after 3.
Really nice round for deathstar at -15. Looks like he didn't miss much.

-13 with a silly very slow swing bogey in round 1, followed by a bunch of shoddy play in round 2, but managed -11 for a -24 at the weekend. Looks like some big numbers to try and chase down. Good luck to everyone yet to play.😎

PMGS247 love the mental breakdown. Looks like a couple strong closing rounds and you'll be up to PGA! I had a good few weeks over the last couple months including a win but missed the opportunity to snag that last mark before the promo event raised the bar! Now just trying to make the cut and dodge getting set back one! Looks like my lengthy analysis from this morning will hold true....with an hour to go it looks like 16 will get thru with a couple slots to spare. Still...I’ll feel better once it’s official!

Finished round four in the high winds. I made some putts again, two after very poor shots that led me to having to make a difficult for par. Very happy with my performance and my -12 final round.
-50 for the tournament. We'll see if it is enough to win. There are a lot of people out there within striking distance. At the very least a promotion mark.
Gl to the rest of you and see you next week!

So does anyone know if Anthony Bellucci is on the forums. I really wanted to reach out to him and tell him he shot a heck of a tournament. He's been around a long time but I don't think I have ever seen him post.

Third round missed a 12 foot birdie on 2 that looked like it was straight but wasn't, lipped out a 12 foot birdie on 5, missed a 9 foot eagle on 6. Did eagle 7 and 10 though. I then put my drive in the rocks on 11, hit a rock with a pitch shot and rolled all the way across the fairway behind me into the other rocks, and ultimately missed a 12 foot par putt from the fringe. Then on 12 I left a pitch short, left a chip short, and missed a 10 foot par. Was in the rough twice on 13 and missed a 17 foot birdie by inches. Ended up missing a 30 foot birdie on 18 by 6 inches to shoot -8. If I'd kept up my pace through the first 31 holes I'd have finished at -51, instead I need -15 in the fourth round just to make the top 10. Always seem to ruin my tournaments somehow.
EDIT: shot -6 in the 4th round, only highlights were a 40 foot triple breaking birdie putt I made and a flop I sank for an eagle. Still leaves me in the 40s when I had a good shot at top 10 early on.
