Did not play well at all, but what a cool course. Definitely the best mini-golf setting I’ve experienced. Loved the background scenery throughout.
Some very challenging holes...I wish I had played a practice round and had a better idea of what I was getting myself into as I had a much improved round 2 because I knew what to expect on a few holes. My only complaint was that I wasn’t a fan of the spots where the slopes guide you into rough and that rough is deemed OB.
I especially enjoyed the 15th hole, I’ve never experienced a hole like that where you can ride the water, really unique.
This ones a lot of fun.

Hope you guys enjoy the course this week. Thanks to Eric for giving it a spot on this society. I'm going to quote part of my course thread here -- some of these tips should be useful as you play:
Hole 1: The only change to this hole is that you tee off from the practice chipping green. Jump straight from the range to the course!
Hole 6: I was able to use the alternate tee I had placed on this hole. (Honestly, that was a primary reason I decided to publish this course.)
Hole 8: You might be able to reach the green in two if you cut the corner off the tee. The second half of the hole plays up the original 14th hole corridor.
Hole 10: Pin 2 on this hole can be absolutely brutal. I highly recommend leaving yourself 90 or more yards for your second shot so that you can hit a full wedge approach.
Hole 13: I imagine this 227-yard par 4 will be the most divisive hole on the course. I've thought about making a drivable par 4 where going over the green is the best play, but this hole takes that idea to the extreme. Should be an easy birdie if you play long, but short of the green is almost assured disaster.
Hole 16: Three options greet you off this tee. One is rather difficult to execute, but you'll have the easiest second shot from there.
Hole 18: This hole is quite similar to the original 9th, except the pin is placed on the putting green! Pin 2, placed just over the ridge that separates the putting green from the 9th green, is particularly difficult to get close to.
Good luck to everyone this week!

Very different from the previous Doubtful courses that I’ve played - a few more trees! -8 after 8 but finished -8, either I got worse or the course got harder, my money is on my ineptitude to string 18/36 holes together. As always really enjoyed it

Sorry DO, didn't enjoy this one at all. Plays like an annoying regular TGCTours course, especially around the greens. I like something different from this society, and it generally is most weeks.

No worries. Obviously not thrilled to see feedback like that, but everyone's entitled to an opinion. You are right: this course is more like a "normal" course than most others on this society, so I can understand why you wouldn't like it in that regard. Cheers, and good luck the rest of the season.

Bear in mind, I don't really play the main tour any more due to getting bored of the same old sort of dullness, and the fact that XB1 players get the short end of the stick, so anything that reminds me of that is gonna P me off!

I see both sides of the coin here fellas, but I appreciate the respectful dialogue.
We’re nearly at the time to review season 2 and get insights from the league, so I’m always open to the feedback, especially from committed regulars like Gary who have demonstrated commitment to our fun little society.
Likewise, we are so thankful for designers within the community to volunteer their courses for our goofy pleasure. This society definitely provides one of the most unique leagues in the game, and it’s great that we can support that with high-quality designs from the crowd. No doubt they won’t all be favorites (look how many people quit on Pleasure Island, the mini golf contest winner), but hopefully the variety still excites the masses.
Thanks for the convo guys, stay tuned for a Season 2 feedback survey.

This week we get to use a par 3 course made specially for us by an aspiring young designer. If you are able, feel free to stream your rounds and post a link in here so that Eli can watch people play his course.
*please turn the camera off when you use one of the port-a-potties!
Thanks so much Eli, we appreciate you helping us out!
