Day 4 Singles Match 6Jeff Greene V Kevin Everard Greene went 1 up after 2 holes with a birdie on the 1st, before being pegged back by an Everard birdie on the 4th. It was even through the 5th and 6th then on the 7th Everard took the lead as Greene bogied the hole. Three birdies in a row from Greene put him 2 up through 10. Everard birdied the 11th to pull one back but could do nothing on the 12th as Greene eagled it to go 2 up. A run of halved holes from 13 to 15 was followed by a Everard birdie on the 16th to pull him back to 1 down. Because the 17th was halved it was down to the 18th to decide the match. With a birdie on the last hole Everard win the hole and halved the match in this tense evenly matched clash. Match finished All Square
CC-B - 9 CC-A - 14 Great match Kevin! I finished the Clash 0-0-3 halving all my matches lol. This was a lot of fun! Thanks to Pat for putting it together, Jamie for organizing us A Listers and Ashton for Captaining us to victory! Great job!

Day 3 Singles Match 6Simon Morris (Sam) V David Andrews (Rhino4Life) Both players parred the 1st hole, then Andrews took the lead on the 2nd with a birdie. The was nothing between them on the 3rd and 4th, then went 2 up by winning the 5th. Morris responded swiftly by winning the next two holes with a stunning albatross on the 6th then a birdie on the 7th. They matched each others scores on 8 and 9 to go into the back 9 level. Morris took the initiative and birdied the 10th to go 1 up, then doubled his lead on the 12th. They both fought through 13 to 16 with no player making an impact on the score. Andrews then birdied the 17th to take him back to 1 down but his bogey on 18th handed Morris the match. CC-A wins 2UP "Stunning Albatross" >>>>>>>>Rhino after missing his par putt on the 18th >>>>>>>In all seriousness; unlucky David - should really have been honours even.

Day 4 Singles Match 2Ashton Fox V Richard Euckert The victorious captain Fox takes to the 1st tee for the last time to take on his flight rival Euckert. Fox takes an early lead on the 1st to go one up, Euckert matches his birdies on 2 and 3 to half the holes. With back to back birdies on 4 and 5 Fox to go 3 up is wanting to exert his team's dominance on the match. Both players birdie the 6th and neither could take advantage on the 7th as they both card bogies. Euckert birdies the 8th to get back to 2 down and remind Fox he still has a match to win. Fox response is immediate as he birdies the 9th to go 3 up through the front 9. Both players par the 10th to tie the hole, then on the 11th Euckert gains some ground with a birdie to reduce the deficit to 2. Both players exchange birdies on the 12th to keep the difference to 2 holes. An Euckert birdie on the 13th gets him within touching distance of Fox, and shortly after the players half the 14th. Euckert isn't here for a party as he hits a hole in one on the 15th to bring him level as Fox looks on bewildered, Unbelievable Jeff. Momentum is now with Euckert as he birdies the 16th to take the lead for the first time in the match. Both players birdie the 17th and 18th to scupper Fox's hopes of a victory parade on his last round. Although the tournament was won earlier in the day and it turned out a meaningless match, no one told Fox or Euckert that. CC-B wins 1UP
CC-B - 10 CC-A - 14

Well that's another successful tournament done with a few high and lows (the highs being my stroke count). We've had pars, birdies, bogies, double bogies, eagles an albatross and a hole in one. I'd like to thank you all for taking part and a special mention to Giraffe72 Ashton Fox and rhino4life for help setting it up and taking charge of the teams. Congratulations to the CC-A team on their victory and hopefully we will all be taking part as rivals or teammates in future competitions. I'll be taking a break from running competitions for a few weeks, just so I can concentrate on competing and designing courses again. Talking about designing courses Wolf's Fang (Tour) has just been published (shameless plug) and we've cleared the schedule if you decide to come and try it out.

Thanks Celtic, Ashton, Giraffe and Rhino for the hard work.
Thanks for allowing me to take part.
Thanks to all members who played on both sides. It was a pleasure to play with and against you all.
Thanks to the designer of the course and having it on the tour.
Thanks to HB and your servers for the very fast downswings when I least needed it.
Thanks to TGCTours for providing the place for us to have our little tournament and providing the fonts I'm using in this message. You don't want them back do you?
Thanks to the old lady down the street who kept her knitting needles from clicking too loud for rounds 2 and 3 which allowed me to score well. I won't kidnap your cat in retaliation for the clicking which killed my round 4. He is safe for now. Consider him on notice for next weeks tournament though.

Well done CC-A great battle. Massive thanks to the organisers for such a brilliant idea, kept looking for the updates and Celtic Wolfs wonderful stories of each match 2 times a day. Can be such a thankless task to organise something like this at times.
Appreciate it.

Another great fun event, but basically all thanks to one person. Take a bow Celtic Wolf, your efforts are much appreciated by all of us As for the match, so many went right down to the wire and we were lucky enough to come out on top in a lot of those. Good job to rhino4life and the Bears, and congrats to my fellow A Listers. And also a big thanks to Ashton Fox for taking on the captaincy role with such gusto. Made some good decisions there Mr Fox. So, when can I expect my cakes and the finest wines known to humanity?..
