I think it’s too early on in it’s release for people to realize how unbalanced this game is. I played a lot of titanfall and it had the same problem. Respawn knows how to create great gameplay but they have no idea how to balance a game. You can’t have different weapon sights/rate of fire/recoil reduction/bullet spread reduction and on top of that have different levels of body armor. That would be like fortnite having loot that makes the pump shotgun shoot twice as fast and that player has 100 more hp. They can’t even make this game single player because of the balancing issues. I’m not spending 10 minutes running around to die to a wraith with legendary body armor and an automatic shotgun.
But... fortnite DOES have loot that gives players 100 more hp. LOL. and depending on which weapon you have, you can fire faster.
I'm quite sure that Apex will do some balancing, as its only been out less than a month, after data comes in.
But all in all, I like it a lot. Its yet another variation in the BR field. Fortnite, PUBG, Ring of Elysium, Apex... all great variations of the same type of game.
I see people a lot say they don't want to run around x number of minutes just to get killed off quickly by x amount of ways. Thats honestly the base of every battle royale game out there. I think either you really enjoy the genre, or you don't. And absolutely nothing wrong with not liking it. Hey, I can't stand Real Time Strategy games, (like command and conquer) but others love them. All in each others tastes!
Personally, I love the thrill of competition in the BR games, against other people. Sure I run around for 20 minutes just to get killed off suddenly, but its what happens during those 20 minutes that makes it fun.

Smh c’mon man, you have different rarity’s of shields/helmets that give damage reduction depending on the rarity, it’s trash. Damage reduction for headshots is just flat out stupid. Top that legendary armor off with a legendary helmet and that guy has more hp and 25% total damage reduction. Top that off with unfairness of weapon attachments/reduction to rocoil/rate of fire etc and it is seriously the most unbalanced game I’ve ever played. Oh ya and even if you kill a guy he has a knockdown shield and 500 hp lmao. Fortnite tried to keep everything balanced, the whole double pump nerf was because people were b%&ing about how unfair it was to be able to fire a pump shotgun at that rate. Apex does that with every gun. |

I personally like the rarity and differences of Apex's different armors, helmets, and weapons. Its not that hard to find some higher tier stuff if you keep eyes open. PUBG does pretty much the same thing.
I'm finding that I'd rather fight someone in Apex with legendary armor and helmet, and a hopped up gun, than I would a builder in fortnite. In fact, I already have more kills in Apex in a couple weeks, than I have in my whole time playing fortnite.
I come upon people that have better gear than me, and it all comes down to can I outsmart them, using the game world and cover provided. Not whether or not they can press buttons and build walls and ramps faster than I can.
To each his own.

Not opinions, facts. Any true gamer would have a problem with the balance in this game but to each his own. I too don’t like the crazy building in fortnite but at least the weapons and shields are the same. If I headshot somebody it’s going to do the same amount of damage as if he headshots me. That means the game is all skill based and some deaths/kills aren’t tainted because he had a souped up gun or more damage reduction. You will eventually grow tired of BR games, my interest in them fell off a cliff. I’ve almost got 200 solo wins on FN and 300 more between duos and squads but I hit just a wall with it one night and haven’t played much since. |

He was just being a troll, here and in other threads. The whole point of Apex is to get the best loot and win the game. You will not win unless you have your guns and shield decked out. I love that part. You have to be bold, go to high tier loot areas or kill people and take their stuff lol  |

had someone last night actually get mad and start screaming over their mic because I "entered their building" with them. LOL I wasn't even thinking of it as taking their stuff as much as just staying together.
Only thing his outburst did was a) made me think I needed to turn other people off, and b) made him not get any heals by screaming at his Lifeline.

Over 50 million accounts created so far, not bad for its first month!!  Still in love with this game! I'm finding that I can play absolutely mediocre for a while and then have a massive 10 kill game and get a W. Soooooo much fun to the point that I have even lost interest in Fortnite now. Also, did anyone else hear that Respawn Entertainment is in the final stages of negotiations with Microsoft and Sony to bring this CROSS PLATFORM!!!! In the first month of release they have averaged 17.8 million individual accounts playing per day. In this period Fortnite has averaged 9 million. Not to mention that we are only days away from the battle pass being dropped and some MASSIVE updates! (March 12) |

I haven't played much of it this week.
I've actually been playing more Fortnite, but I've been playing the Save the World side, NOT the BR side. The new hero loadout system is really cool, and I honestly love the story/writing, and the voice acting in StW. In their battlepass, the pirate skin, which you get just by getting the battlepass by itself, is AWESOME, but unfortunately (for them), thats the ONLY thing in the whole battlepass that interests me. I have no real incentive to play the BR side.
Will be interesting to see what Apex's battle pass offers. Honestly, I could really care less about all the skins and stuff they offer. The game itself is fun, but if their battle pass simply offers more of the same, then there is no real reason for me to get it. I can play the game, (the fun part of it so far) for absolutely free.
