I cant be the only one who was taken aback by a non-sarcastic post from Taste. I was waiting for a snarky comment throughout that whole passage. Without a doubt, best community I've been a part of. Makes coming in 40th place rewarding and keeps you coming back, also the investment of admins is crazy with all that goes into the website and adapting on feedback by members, second to none.

This community has made this game, imo. That is first and foremost the leadership, and then the great people. You know the quality when you see the growth, and they have had to create new ways to deal with the continuing growth. I have basically turned my xbox into a golf simulator only... poor COD and FIFA. This comment rings so true. Fifa & destiny certainly on the back burner for me. The tour has really added so much to this game. It's just my go to game now!! Thanks so much to all the staff for your hard work and the community is fantastic. Dont think I've ever posted so much on a message board lol Same for me....I have all of the latest releases...COD, Far Cry, GTA...they all collect dust because of TGC and the amazing job here on this site. Very well done! |

Can't be said enough! Great work guys! I really hope HB will spend some resources on supporting your effort as it will keep their game around for a long time and probably already has earned them some revenue through word of mouth sales.

Thought I'd add my two cents worth as well as I know that running a site like this has to be tons of work. I've volunteered at some other sites for various reasons and none were anywhere near as large as this user base is, and it was practically a full time job. I, and clearly many others, are very appreciative of the time and effort it takes to create a fun and involved group for everyone to enjoy.

I, too, echo everything that has been said here. One thing that has been most evident to me is the availability of the Staff!! No one is hiding out, passing the buck or pointing fingers back at the membership. These are some of the qualities I see:
1. Fast to react; 2. reaction with thought; 3. fairness to all; 4. no cronyism (as far as I can see).
We owe a lot to these fine people and they definitely give back to us as a community of "ladies" and "gentlemen". Words are not enough, imo.................  |

Full echoes on what all have said. The site and people running it are A1 top class.
The Golf Club game was dead to me (boring, no career mode, no unified tourneys) and it was this website and the tournament setup that reignited my interest.
In return, I do try to help by posting on the forums and participating in the press tent conversations. I think the best way to thank these guys is by supporting their efforts with tourney participation, forum posts, and volunteerism (pics, marshall, reviews, etc) as time/talent allows.

I have to say, I am truly glad I stumbled across TGCTours. Being a part of such a great community and having a truly competitive structure really enhances this game and resonates what Golf is really about, having fun!
I feel like I am actually part of a Tour and look forward to the competition and progression! The possibilities are endless!

Without this site and the other tour i'm a part of i'd have probably stopped playing the game some time ago. There's just no thrill in playing "random" rounds for me anymore. All about preparing for and playing these events.

All about preparing for and playing these events. I am in the same boat mate. I am always quiting casual rounds as i get frustrated very quickly (knowing the score doesn't mean anything). TGCTours has been perfect for me as i would have probably stopped playing and the only rounds i really have are ones on the tourney courses or the actual tourney itself. (occasionally play a really good course on the side) |

I just wanted to revive this thread - I work in education & am forever telling my students they do great or produce good work, when often it isn't the case. Yet those that really do work hard rarely get the appreciation that thier hard work deserves
As I understand it the last few weeks have not been smooth sailing or easy for the admins/organisers of this great site but I wanted to keep in the forefront of our minds that you are doing a top notch job
To put this post into perspective - I'm a bang average web b tour player with no chance of winning anything but this site & competition you have set up is pretty much the only thing that gets me to turn the PS4 on, oh & you've saved me close to £40 as otherwise I'd be playing MLB The Show now !
So thanks - I know it's nice to hear it every so often especially when you do deserve it

Being new to these forums and TGCTours I'm looking forward to playing my first tournament next week on the Web A tour. The work that goes into putting this together is greatly appreciated! Kudos to all of you who have devoted your spare time to creating something for like minded people a place to enjoy this game and community. Thank you for all you do!
