A fantasy course and wow, some of these elevation changes are massive. I normally don't play with ghosts but I have a feeling I might add one or two here as well as practice each round at least once after I find out the conditions for that round. I can really see myself switching up clubs a few times during the tourney based on the winds. No idea how I'll do as I normally don't do well with these types of courses.
GL all.

-5 -8 start for me to be -13 at the cut hope that's not enough to be honest as this is a ridiculous course that has no business being on tour. Had a slow downswing on my 36th hole that meant I overshot the green even into a gale force wind as according to HB slow downswings make you hit the ball further hmmmm that cost me a double bogey hahaha Good luck out there peeps you'll need it

Then a great big ‘un appears on the back 9. Did quite enjoy it after I stopped laughing. Can’t even remember what my score was after 2 rounds LOL.

17 putts on the front 9 of the first round. All but like 2 of my misses were by a couple inches. Honestly, what's the point in continuing... 14 more on the back 9, plus I went OB on 15. The number on the leaderboard is going to be like 27 or 28 though since I'm counting putts from the fringe. Ended up with a 69.
Second round, missed putts from the fringe on 1 and 2, then on 3 I was about a yard off the fairway but behind a giant rock, which is silly, though I managed to par the hole. Looks like there are several holes where giant rocks jut out into the hole blocking the fairway, which is a bizarre design decision. Left a birdie putt 8 inches long on 4. 3-putted from 7 feet on 7. Had a very fast downswing that came out of nowhere on 8 then lipped out a 60 foot birdie putt that looked like it was dead center. Left a 38 footer for eagle on 12 1 foot short, line was perfect.
And then I went ahead and birdied the last 7 holes to get to -11 through 2 rounds, which fittingly I expect to be just enough to get clipped by a stroke or 2 at the cut.
Still got that issue where every time I try to hit a fast downswing it's perfect but half the time when I try to hit a perfect downswing it's fast.

I wasn't sure what to think about this course, but I fared pretty well. -12, -7 at the turn. Get rid of a bad bounce OB on 14 in round 2, and if I didn't miss 3 gimmies, I would be in great shape. 😎

With a little luck, it could contend, but should at least be a top 10.

Another tremendous course, I think that’s 4weeks in a row where I have had to actually calculate wind and elevation and green speed. It sure beats the boring, straight ,narrow ,flat fairway garbage that seems to be the norm on 90% of courses on this game . I thinks it’s magnificent to have variation every week.43 Under should win , 36 under top ten , cut at 12 under , depending on how many people can be bothered to play this awesome course . Good luck and keep the glass half full

Sitting at -4 after 27 holes so will probably miss my first cut. But I'm waiting with the last 9 holes to see if I have a small opportunity to make it anyway *thinking I play better under pressure*.

Really enjoyed this, so different to anything else we have played. I wouldn't want to play courses like this every week but I like a bit of varietly.

Mickey Mouse course in my book - i just can't stand fantasy courses.
But i played pretty good:
-7 -11 -11 -9
-38 for the tournament. Top 20 i would guess.

I was surprised to see this show up on the schedule but I'm glad it did. It definitely walks a line....I'm sure plenty of people will consider it too over the top for this tour. I think that's a reasonable argument to make, but I just happen to like it. Very risk-rewardy course. I can see myself shooting anywhere from -1 to -15. If you can dodge the landmines you can score really well, but it's really easy for 1 or 2 holes to pop up out of nowhere and kill your round.
As much as I do enjoy the course, just like last week I put up a stinker of a round 1. I was playing fine, -5 through 9 when I got pulled into an alt-shot. Threw back a few too many beers during the alt shot and when I dropped back into my boa vista round everything went south...very fast'd two different balls into water and missed a couple short putts. Ended R1 at -3....once again I find myself with a lot of work to do in r2 to survive the cut. Pulled it off in the gale force winds at pebble last week, we'll see how it goes on this roller coaster of a course.

Well, got my first round in and it was an adventure in the best possible way. I see Todd has set the bar pretty high for a win this week, but after -12 to start all goals are within reach. I can't say that I was a huge fan of the course, but the challenge did end up holding my interest through the first round. Not sure how four rounds around here will go, but off to a good start. Have been riding a bit of a hot putter lately, so hoping that sticks around.

My score is definitely beatable, just don't feel like you have to, a -41 or -42 would be just fine 😉 Best of luck 😎

After my poor first round I threw together a more respectable -10 for r2 for -13 at the cut. It was one shot off the fronnt page of the PS4 leaderboard thru 2 last night. Has to be good enough for the cut. This is 2 weeks in a row I’ve held onto my 4 promo marks by the skin of my teeth. Need to improve my weekend drinking strategy because it’s really killing my tgc rounds.
