Trying to find my doctor's office building in the city and I was late so I finally find it and I have to parallel park. Have not had to do that in a while. Scraped the right passenger rim. Grrrrrrrrrrr. Nothing major but still.
When they checked my BP and pulse they where a little high .

This is actually from a game, Need for Speed: Heat, the newest one that just came out, but I figured you car lovers would appreciate this more than most in the video game section.
This is my attempt to take a stock purple ( I think plum was the actual color) '70 Barracuda, with nothing at all custom on it, and make it into the Barracudas that I remember from growing up.
The game didn't have these decal/wraps in it, I had to put shapes together and text and make my own wrap so to speak. It would not let me angle the big HEMI word like the originals, and I couldn't put 'hemicuda' on the shaker itself, I had to put it down on the hood part. But otherwise I think I came pretty close! I changed out most of the body to make it into what I would like to have, if I had a real one back then, but keeping it with the actual look of them. I tried my best to match that gold color, because thats the ones that I remember seeing people driving, plus I like that color.
Might not can design a golf course, but I love to design car graphics!! (Back when I ran Nascar sims, I had a different wrap for my car for every track. My sponsor was the NFL, so I designed a wrap that used the closest team to each racetrack. I think I had more fun making those than I did actually racing. haha)
Anyway, here is my Need for Speed Drift monster-

I just stumbled upon this thread.  Anyway, fast-forward to January of this year... I found an '09 Challenger SRT8 with only 5850 miles on it! It was sitting in some old man's garage in New York. Long story short... After a road trip there and back to Oklahoma, I'm the proud owner of a Challenger! Made quite a few modifications to it since then. Decided to add a supercharger in July. Sitting at about 18000 miles as of now. Literally looks brand new still. I hate buying gas, but I sure do love her!  |

I'm a truck nut, always been a truck nut. Had my days with cars also though, '53 Chevy Bel Air, '57 Bel Air, '63 Impala, '72 Firebird. Heheh, even went through a VW bug craze at one time. (honestly not sure why but I dug the lil' buggers for a while.) Back to trucks though, the last pet project I had was this '65 3/4 ton with a 396. I'd rebuilt it put about 18k miles on it & had started in on the body restoration (had only got to the hood with primer) then as fuel prices here on the left coast started getting out of hand so did finances at the time I had to scrap the idea of restoring it. Body was getting past the point in some spots & the amount of funds, time, & effort just wasn't there anymore. My next thought before throwing in the towel completely was to pull the 396 & stick in the T Bucket (below) but there again, brain says 1 thing wallet & common sense another. Finally offloaded em' both to somebody that had the time & $$'s! Hated getting rid of that '65 though! Absolutely love that body style!
