It's the best hunting game out there. It's quite relaxing to play. It's been a bit since I played it but they've made a lot of updates to it recently and I'm planning to get back into it...will probably stream some soon.
I have it for PC and for PS4. I prefer PC because it is much easier for me to aim and shoot with a mouse...just feels more precise. But sometimes it's nice to just lay on the couch and play on the big screen.

i have read where it looks superb on the xbox one and seems to me for 20 quid worth a try might give it a whirl this week end

I play frequently on PS4. The last update added Lions to Africa map and they will hunt you, which has radically changed the game. The progression through the game is quite good as you pick up better weapons and skills. If you are on the fence on buying it, There are a lot of vids on utube you can check out. One last good thing is that the devs are very active in adding additions to the game, but the DLC’s are not free.

Got this guy last night. Was my first diamond. I saw him from 350 yards out which is too long for a 22. I didn't have a shotgun so I attempted to sneak into range. While still just outside of range, the whole flock decided to take off. Fortunately, they flew nearly over me. Took me 4 shots with the 22 almost straight overhead but I downed him.  |

I just bought this game on steam, as it was 40% off. I've had it on my wishlist for awhile and decided to buy it while its discounted. Some of the steam reviews mention that the game has alot of bugs. Are you guys noticing any issues especially if your playing on PC?
I'm looking forward to learning the game and trying to get some kills.

I don't think there are a lot of bugs. You'll occasionally come across an animal that is bugged (like caught in some brush or completely unable to move) but that's not really common and you can either ignore the animal or kill an easy target so it's not really detrimental to the experience.
It's a great game...you'll love playing it.

Bought the game a couple weeks ago, was playing it a while started gaining some traction...One evening last week I was mid-hunt and BOOM blue screen of death
When my PC restarted and I loaded game back up it said my saved game data was corrupt and i had to delete it
Had to start from scratch.... That sucked
I went into yukon upon restarting the game, building up everything, visited a bunch of outposts... Went into the game last night and all the outposts ive visited and unlocked are no longer showing
so I cant fast travel to any one of them...frustrating but I love the game....
I visited that burnt zone upper left, went down to the waters edge on my four wheeler, was about to get off and go a huntin' and a pack of friggen wolves attacked me ...That was cool... I killed three of them before finally bleeding out...
I killed a bison last night and then the rest of them attacked me... I laid down flat behind the dead one and began picking the aholes off one by one, ended up killing four in that one spot... ha ha ha
Fun game... beautiful environments

Yeah they have introduced a new save system and it seems to be a bit buggy for some' my mates save file corrupted also.Think he was in hid mid 20's or something' he realy didnt want to start all over' so i sent him my save file.Now he's lvl 60 with no money worries everything unlocked except for pistols.. haha' You're right it's a stunning looking game the engine they use for the enviorement is amazing' could you imagine a golf game with this engine..
