Thanks all. I HOPE game mode does not mess with my putting as I have distance down near perfection. Distance is the easy part. It’s an LG TV.
2 LSA Statement towers A dominion center 4 atmos ceiling speaker 2 250 watt Dominion subs Marantz “receiver”. Are they even called receivers anymore?
Best movie yet? Oddly iTonya for the amazing music. And of course any super hero movie. 12 Strong was really sweet

It shouldn’t mess up your putting, it’s fine but can get rid of variance

Just for clarity - though I respect the fact that you enjoy your audio setup (as you well should, wish I had it!), that has absolutely nothing to do with anything involving this game, so don't mess with that. Literally all you need to do is change a couple of display settings on your TV and you'll be set.

Thats the added benefit at least on mine is all types such as, game, movie dynamic all use separate settings. So I can watch movies a little dimmer and games brighter without changing a thing once set up

So if you switch to game mode and find your putting is somehow screwed up, just switch it off again.

Just curious do you have a OLED 4K TV and a Xbox X or PS4 Pro with a 4K receiver ? I'm going to guess no. It's not as simple as you keep making it out to get the best picture. Some people pay to get thier TVs calibrated. There is a ton a variables when dealing with these set ups. We have a whole thread dedicated to it on the Xbox forums over at HB. His problem is probably one of the easier ones to fix but that doesn't mean he has everything connected correctly to get a true 4K experience.

I suggested doing a google search for his tv and PS4. There are hundreds of posts on favorite setups. That is how I set up my Samsung KS 4K and PS4 PRO and also for setting up best for movies and even sports setting. Looks fantastic. Or you can call Best Buy geek squad for a nominal fee. My buddy did that. Not many are any good out of the box.

I got the works. and I agree with you. It’s a sweet system but a year old and I’m still learning and relearning. That is why I had someone else do it. I would have to relearn everything I knew 15 years ago. So I did contact the company and asked if they calibrated. NO! They did not. Ahhhh haaaa. I do have a clue from previous life experiences LOL. I live on a need know basis. I’ve been so “into” the audio that the video was ignored. Thanks eveyone for suggestions. And keep them coming

i honestly see zero difference in lag from where it was. Just a slightly poorer image LGs have mammoth processing power.

Here is a list of common TVs. It gives various input lag results on how it’s set up. On my TV I notice no difference in image quality, it actually looks better and plays better. Anyhow, like I said every TV is different . www.rtings.com/tv/tests/inputs/input-lag

Mark in the TV product number. Is it a C7? If so that is what I have. I could take pics of my settings in game mode and try and post them on here or text them to you. Game mode reduces input lag dramatically. Which is a good thing. It also does dumb down the picture if you don't make changes to it. As GW said you can make game mode look as good as the other modes. Just takes some tweaking.
