Based on how this virus is spreading like wildfire I may soon be stuck working from home, leaving me time to finish up sculpting on my PV rendition.

Man, you are an artist. Seriously. And..even if i totally share your feelings about HB, i'm happy you decided to don't quit. After all, you could only renounce to do something you love to do..we should lose the chance to play some great course..and guys at HB would stays morons in any case..so i'm really happy about your decision.
About Lidar..i agree with your point of view. But, being just a beginner with the editor and considering i also still never used the Lidar, i don't know if and how much it affects the plant meter, then forcing designers to leave their courses a bit "naked"...or if is just a wrong attitude. But i would be really curious to see if, with your skills and passion, the result could be different. And how much. Some course like Whistling Straits, just to say a name.

Made some really good progress sculpting the front 9 this weekend, starting to take shape nicely. I'll try to post some pics later today time permitting (I'm china virus free so I get the pleasure of going to work every day amid this crisis).

Couple updated overhead pics. I worked a bunch this weekend on updating the elevations and fine tuning holes 1-4. It's a long, tedious process but is coming along quickly. I have some great resources to use now with a nice 18 hole flyover vid showing the recent course updates, a lidar version in TGC to reference for elevations, detailed green break data for all 18 and a really great Links version for ref.

I haven't tuned in the elevations yet on the back 9 but here's a view off the tee on 14. I still have to sort out how the terrain moves to the right of and beyond the hole.
View from the left greenside sand.
