I'm proud to present my contest entry, Aristida Dunes Club. Plays 7,503 yards from the back, with firm terrain and medium-fast greens. I'd recommend adding a little wind to complete that open seaside feel, but it plays fine without it as well.

Another incredible course. To be honest I’d be amazed if Any of the courses from the comp were less than 5 star. As someone just starting out in designing I can only dream of creating these masterpieces from this comp.

Matt... Fantastic course, I think every single shot in it is worth being considered the signature picture of the course. And not only it does look amazing, it plays really smooth and fun

Matt, I'll echo what you said in my thread. This is a course I want no part of during pool play. Extremely well put together, every tee shot's a postcard and the greens are deceptively tricky. Shot -8 but felt like it should have been so much better, but that's the struggle I've been having w/ my putter as of late. Could have legitimately gone eagle-eagle-eagle on 7, 8 & 9 but missed easy putts on 7 & 8 to settle for -4 on that stretch. Well done as usual Matt. I think I even saw a think or two you could apply to future projects . Good luck in the contest!

mattf27, your courses have always been the most aesthetically pleasing to me of any designer. Based on the pictures, it appears that will remain. I can't wait to play it.

A magical track, to be honest. Feels and looks tough but plenty playable and doesn't beat you up unnecessarily. Scenic, varied, great use of terrain. Every tee shot is a postcard, as someone said above. Planting is understated, natural, and complementary of the setting. This would be a fantastic match play course with a number of good half par holes and challenging one shotters. I could list off a few critiques but they would be nitpicky. It is clear that mattf27 is becoming a preeminent designer in this game and his portfolio keeps improving with each new offering. Strong contender in the competition, I reckon.

I caught Andre and Eric's play-through on this course and thought it was absolutely top-notch. Everything blends seamlessly and looks completely natural. Layout also looked well thought out and fun to play. I could see how much attention you put into sight-lines, that just made every hole stand-out. Awesome!

Played this last Friday in our alt+shot rounds and enjoyed the course. Well done as expected and some of the view were really nice. Looking forward to see how this does in the contest.
