Euh? The first round setup was a joke? I practiced and setup my bag according to these official first round settings: Fairways: Normal Greens: Firm Green Speed: Fast Time of Day: Default Weather: Default Wind Speed: Medium Wind Direction: East Greens are 163ft when you setup a course on fast... What do I get in the tournament, 187ft greens and they're concrete hard... So now my bag work, longer clubs, doesn't work and all the practicing is for nothing... Not happy at all here!

Finished up yesterday, hopefully another top 10-ish. I liked the challenge to some extent, but I think this was the kind of course where it's more enjoyable to play rounds spread apart rather than 3 in one sitting like I did with rounds 2-4. After a while, the course and shots required just got redundant. Seemed like every approach shot was 210+ with some big elevation adjustment, it just got tiresome to try and hit it close. It's certainly a template for setting up courses for worse scoring - to make mostly approach shots that fall within the yardage gaps at the higher end of bags - and the course itself is a visual gem, but after the first 4 or 5 holes of round 4, I just felt like I wanted to get it over with. If I had the time, definitely think I could have embraced that challenge a bit more if I'd spread out my rounds, but it just didn't happen. Best of luck to all yet to finish, and happy holidays to everyone.

Weather report shows speed/firmness as default Looks like he chose to consult the exact in-game round settings to practise rather than the TGCT weather report. Since the patch the pre-round screen just says 'fast' instead of 'default', but 'fast' covers a wide range, not just 163. Not overly sympathetic tbh since we're not meant to know the exact conditions, the weather report is there to show you only the range of conditions that will come up, so if you're looking to get an edge to practise the exact same conditions and get screwed by HB's patch then, well, sucks to be you!

Gave it my best in RD4. Highlight of the round for me was a 2 iron out of the left rough on 18. It was a 70%-78% lie from about 170 and I nailed it up the fairway. It bounded up onto the green, just caught the slope and trickled down to the right and stopped 6 feet from the pin. Made the putt to shoot -12 and finished tied with Mitch at -38. Whether or not it was enough for a top-5 and an invite to Kapalua I don't know but it was a fun challenge. Good luck gentlemen and looking forward to 2019!

Finest of margins, as this is where my 1i stopped and I made bogey vs bird to drop out of the top 5, after catching the edge with my attempt from the top of that cliff. Well played Nathan.

So in at -40, currently second. Waiting to see if the score passes through the API or if they disappear from the leaderboard again. I'm somewhat surprised that I am in second because I didn't feel like I putted near as well as I did at Summerlin but am in similar position relative to the field. I missed at least 5 putts inside 10 feet and another 3 or 4 from 15-20 feet that I could have just played straight. Oh well.
In rounds 1 and 2 I struggled around the course and made everything I looked at. Big breaking 15-20 footers to save pars, etc. Rounds 3 and 4 hit a lot of quality shots to leave good scoring chances and made nothing out of them. It easily could have been my week but congrats to Chris Rawsey, making birdie on the last 7 holes in that wind is pretty damn good. Not sure if -44 will hold up as Brad is still out there waiting to play his final 36 holes and I think the scoring opportunities are there

Not sure how to take this. You still beat me but at the same time the closest I’ve come to you! Seriously, it was a tough one. Everyone knows what you can do.

I didn't play well on Thursday in the first two rounds, throwing quite a few shots away with poor course management and bad play: but -20 was acceptable considering I didn't have my a game. Then, I booted the game up yesterday; straight away I got a fast/fast on the the 1st hole that I played, which was the par three third, straight into the water. I made a very good up and down from a nonsensical drop that I got, left of the water near the grandstand? From there on, I had no timing whatsoever, I couldn't blame the game, the course or the servers: the game just felt totally alien to me, I had no feel at all and limped home with two very poor rounds. It wasn't just the long game that went, my short game and putting were pretty miserable too!
