We've run the fast track promotions on CC-Am. This is based off a Standard deviation calculation on the entire field - anyone that shoots better than this number will be auto-promoted. Fast Track baselines this week: CC-Z: 17-under or better CC-G: 24-under or better CC-F: 28-under or better CC-E: 31-under or better The CC-Am tour will have the highest amount of golfers improving - as many are shooting over par coming out of Q-School and then improving drastically in a short period of time. This will help keep the top of the CC-Am leaderboards balanced while allowing those that have settled into the CC-Am skill level a chance to compete without having to worry about guys shooting lights out and waiting for a win to move up the CC-Am flights. CC-Pro will not have this in place - so once you get to CC-D the grind at the top will start. Note: we don't have a good way of displaying this for now - until we add an icon or cutline bar - the best way to tell who was Fast Tracked is to check the top of a CC-Am leaderboard on Sunday after a finalization and see who has no promotion/demotion marks. I received an e-mail saying I had been promoted from G to F but I'm not on the promotion/demotion page and I still appear to be in G, also I scored 22 under. Did I get an email by mistake or am I promoted ?

what about master club players being fast tracked, reduce the baseline number for those players using the hardest difficulty setting otherwise we could be F..ers for life LOL

Yes, sorry guys - we had a small issue where we sent the email out to some that shouldn't have been fast tracked. If you are not on the new tour, then unfortunately you did not get promoted.

what about master club players being fast tracked, reduce the baseline number for those players using the hardest difficulty setting otherwise we could be F..ers for life LOL There is really no incentive for master club players besides personal choice unfortunately. The amount of players on pro clubs placing high versus those with master clubs is still very much in favor of pro club use. This is more HB's fault as there is not enough of a distance disparity for any club choice on pro, versus club choice on master. Yet, master clubs are far harder to excel in. When you consider that only the top 20 players get promotion marks and see that 60-70% or more are using pro clubs, it can be frustrating for sure.

I thought both Pro and Masters can now get promotion marks in CC-A? Will now lean more to people using Pro clubs I reckon now considering the short game is far easier with them.

I agree MoneyMan, such an unfair advantage for pros glad they did away on here with beginners in their own league Masters is so difficult as I've been doing them since game came out what most don't realize is the margin of error is so small between masters then it is with pro. and I also just started playing match play again and I stopped as this problem now I just played a match and after 5th hole I won guy quits and doesn't count so ill never play heads up again unless they fix it at least give me the win really only way we can win , my theory is pro/beginners have at least 95% chance to beat us even when were on are our game 100% of the time sucks but that's how they designed it. plus all masters players if you want come join my society all pros have to move up by level 40 and as well anyone over +15 handicap. Tru's Crew search high to low 8th page currently I believe for some reason searching by name doesn't work 2,000 entry fee 1500 events

No promotion! oh man that sucks, two lousy strokes, oh man that hurts after I've been grinding just to get a green mark and I get a fast track and then it's santched away from right under my nose Ah well there's always next time, nose back to the grindstone time I suppose.

Doyley, Tim, why not just bring back the Sponsor Exemptions? This way there is an avenue for those to fast track up if they are in a division less than their ability, but also lets the guy who may have had 1 really good week not have to endure 5 weeks of demotion marks because they are in a tier higher than their avg ability because of one good week.. Just my 2 cents.. BTW, how often would the fast tracking be run? Is it just the week following the promo events?

If they move up one tier and are struggling to 5 negative movement marks in that tier one higher, they likely would have almost as many in the tier they were in previously.
I find the way staff has structured this seasons' way to find balance (it is always out of balance, the trick is to keep it as close to real as possible in real time) within each tour more dynamic than the Sponsorship Exemptions model which was too slow and lagged too far behind what I would call real time balance of the tours.

I was just speculating. It essentially works the same way anyway, with exception that the FT is more final. Anyway, I struggle in CC-F, but feel I'm on the cusp of having a really good wk. If I happen to be within the FT run, I'd move up a tier, not necessarily because I was mis-placed initially, but because I just had a really good week. I do agree with you, I also think the admins are doing an awesome job trying to get that balance and just running the tours in general.. FORE!
