What can I say about that last round, with the hurricane force winds, the plan was to play as safe as possible, avoid getting in the trouble and take what ever chances came my way. I did that and then some. I played the wind better than I could have ever hoped, four solid birdies on the front nine. It was when I chipped in for eagle on 10, that I started to get the feeling that this could be good, three more birdies followed with out ever putting myself in danger, could have had one or two more but not going to worry about that, a fantastic eagle on the last to finish on -11, easily the best I have played this season and what I hope could be a top 10 with -36 for the event.if the the cut is what I hope it is. With so many good players still to play, and birdies there for the taking, I really don’t know what the cut line will be. Absolutely amazing round man... Had a good tournament going till that last round but still happy to end - 28

woohoo, took me 4 weeks but I'm back on Web- Disappointing that I missed my course in Week 2. Very glad to be on a Tour with everyone playing Masters clubs and a more level playing field. Now to play well and stay bc I dont want to go back to that Bad place (CC-A).

Another week, another weekend I won't be making the cut. I kinda have the sh!ts of this game right now, to be honest. Not sure how much longer I can take the tempo being a total cluster and screwing up every round I have. -5, -4 = -9 after two rounds, easily will miss the cut by 5 shots at least I would think. Tremendous course this week, congrats to texasdad on a beautiful venue, sure wish I would be playing rounds 3 and 4.

Got my round 1 out of the way. Tempo seemed to behave a bit better this week than the last couple once I got warmed up. I really should start playing a couple warm up holes, and/or a practice round, and/or use ghost balls but I'm still too lazy for any of that. Had one of those rounds where only a couple approach shots got fairly close, didn't really make any great shots, and finished the round feeling like that was a blah round only to look at my scorecard and see a bogey free -8. No real idea how that happened but I know 18 helped. Mishit the approach shot, ball took a couple lucky bounces and left me a fairly easy eagle putt. Nice bounce back round after a missed cut last week.

Should have kept going instead of taking a break. Tempo was suddenly off, line was off, couldn't buy a putt. This time looking at the scorecard I saw 3 bogeys and a -2 and that was after being -3 through the first two holes. Will most certainly hold off to see if I need to bother playing the last two rounds.

Decent start with -7 and -6. Should make the cut this week. Last round was tough with the wind and shot +2. Nice course this week.

Difficult 2nd round. But managed to get a decent -6 I think. Was struggling with my swing more than the wind so hopefully that can be done better next rounds

Pretty below avg. first round at -5, left at least 3-4 shots out there from missing short quick breaking putts...just hope for a similar decent second to make the cut. Anyone on here recently buy a new controller to see if their shot line/tempo improved? If so was there any noticeable improvement?

I played this event with a brand new $65 official XB1 controller, still missed the cut with bad tempo issues.

I played a practice round last night- and the tempo was as bad as I've ever seen... 3 Very Slow swings on the front 9? I havent seen a very slow swing in months. This was at 7p EST, and I figured the HB servers were being taxed?

This was at 7p EST, and I figured the HB servers were being taxed? I'm usually averse to this theory, but recently I've been playing some society rounds around 5-6am GMT, and I've been shocked at how few bad downswing tempos I get - 2-3 per round whereas normally it's anywhere between 6-10+ per round. Could be a coincidence / placebo but it's enough to make me think that busier times might actually have an impact on tempo. Early morning GMT might be the sweet spot as 90% of yanks have gone to sleep by then.

Actually I played first time with a nrw controller now (ps4) and for me the tempo is easier(less fast backswings mainly) but hitting a straight line is harder. Maybe it takes a while for the controller to get used to the game 😊
