I pre-ordered the game for my son and I. We played most of the B.E.T.A. sessions now we are head long into saving West Virginia! Love this game! I remember playing the first Fallout on PC...... many, many moons ago.
Anyway, if you are on XB1 and want to hook up in game send me a message. It is way more fun playing together! Good luck out there!
Got the game yesterday but won’t be home until tomorrow and from what I hear it may be early next year before the updates finish downloading but after that I’ll be giving it a try. I can be found under the name boffo on PS4 if anyone is interested.
Finally got the update downloaded and played for a little bit tonight. Certainly seems strange with no NPC’s to interact with. I assume I’ll get used to it eventually but half an hour in it’s still the one thing in the game that stands out most.

You can interact with robot npc's for quests and event stuff
And dead NPC's as well. A couple hours in and it does feel like something is missing. It's just not pulling me in like Fallout 3 immediately did and New Vegas and 4 fairly quickly did. I'm guessing it's because so far it lacks the grander narrative beyond you're a survivor trying to survive in a big, ruined, and devoid of human life world. Haven't read any reviews of it, but have seen the scores and I'll say it's not as bad as that.

I like playing it solo, but I just can't go running through and smashing crap when I am alone. It is by far better with someone else. I play with my son and his buddies. More enjoyable with friends.
So...Lvl 31, played continuously Solo. Been a grind as i've spent most of my time Over-Cumbered because Stash box 2 small. Hopefully after Tuesdays update to make it 600lb i may be able to fast travel
I was on the fence a few hrs in, but having spent time learning to survive, I have come to absolutely love this, just enjoy strolling around finding place's wondering whats hidden there, Luckily i've found about 10 power armours i have a full T-60 set ready to go when i reach lvl 40.
So my verdict is its great, best game of year for me alongside AC Odyssey.
sroel908: And as someone who's rangered/scheduled hundreds of courses, trying out a wide range of conditions, I can say with certainty that green speeds do have an impact and definitely matter.

sroel908: Green firmness is more about how the ball interacts with the putting surface when you hit an approach into it. A soft green is more receptive, and will allow more backspin than a firm one. A firm green will have less bite and more rollout.

meunier33: I have seen 135 greens that putt like they are 170. Therefore, we can conclude that green speed does not matter.

meunier33: Why isn't there a green firmness meter on the score bug? Green firmness matters much more than green speed.

meunier33: I still play this game like it was the game before 2K21. Up until this month I have never tried to change anything about how I play the game. It has made me worse trying to adapt also.

OldManGaming606: The biggest swing adjustment and best for competitive golf IMO, was 2k21 and addition of tempo.

Art Vandelay: each time the game has been issued (TGC, TGC2, TGC19, etc) the game play changes. Some more than others. You have to adapt. Or go away, like some have.

Wutpa: I think a lot of people here have figured out what your problem is, and it's not what you think it is.

meunier33: EG the best swing used to be hard and low and not a high swing like it is now.

meunier33: Im finally figuring out what my problem is though. I play the game like it used to work 4 or 6 years ago and I have trouble adjusting to how it now plays

zooby97: Is that all meunier33 does is COMPLAIN? Will you please ditch the game so I don’t have to see the complaints anymore, wow!
