Meh, As usual completely blew the 1st round. Becoming a trend already for me Shot a very wet -2, found the water more than the fairway it felt like. Got my act together in the 2nd with a respectable -7 but -9 isn't going to make the cut. Just for the record, I doubled my score in R3, making me -18 after 3. Edit: Why the F&%K did I play sooo bad in the 1st round? Just shot another -9 in R4 to finish at -27 Going to so soooo pissed when I miss the cut considering I finished off really well

No worries pal nobody's fault except the designer 😉😉 Bogey free -12 second round to leave me at -17 for the cut.... Will it be enough?? We'll have to wait and see... will play rounds 3 and 4 later after I've had a couple of tst rounds I hope you're kidding -17 is probably top 10 after 2 rounds...

Round one went kind of good-okay (-4 after 11) until a dumb double bogey on the 12th. Completely misjudged the wind+elevation combined with a bad swing to the right. into the water. Didn't give up after that and made a good eagle on the 16 after a risky drive. -5 to finish. Not horrible considering but got to get my level up in the next rounds to really compete.

I forgot how nerve racking this course could be at times, some of those shots can be scary. Started with two birdies to settle my nerves, four pars followed before a act of stupidity cost me a shot on seven. After that, I started to find my rhythm, to make things even better, I was making putts I had no right to make. It does not happen often but sometimes the putter just works, today was one of those days, Seven birdies and a eagle was the result to finish the first round on ten under, a shock to the system but not going to complain.

Round two could be described as steady but unspectacular. I played well, took most of my birdie chances as the came and never left myself in danger. Maybe could have been a couple of shots better but that’s something we all say after every round. Bogey free nine under to be nineteen under at the half way mark, thrilled to say the least with that. Having a break now, more than two rounds in a row for me and I lose focus. Good luck to everyone yet to start.

It's certainly a course that can get you in trouble if you make swing mistakes or misjudges. Keep out of trouble and you will score.

Yeah. No chance the final score is -50. I would be shocked. I was guessing -25 to -30 would be the range. It's a tough track. A lot of demanding shots and it only takes you being off by fractions to start stacking the strokes. I started -5. Could have been -9 with a few tweaks but it could have been -1 just as well. Its a good second week challenge for sure.

Not making the cut this week with -2, E. Won’t bother with the next 2 rounds. Missed a lot of putts inside 8 feet today.

Scores look a little scary this week, yikes!
I'll be on Twitch today around 3pm Eastern to play my rounds. Come cheer me on, or root against me, both are welcomed! LOL
EDIT: It's nearly 3pm... here we go!

Couldn't find my swing in R1 and had at least 3 balls in the drink. +4 Swing was much better (started looking at screen instead of the controller), but still had 2 bogeys. -3 Most likely another demotion mark. GL guys!

We all have courses that we really enjoy playing (irrespective of scores) and also those that we don't; for me this was one of the latter. No disrespect to the designer who no doubt put in a lot of time and effort; it looks good and I'm sure plenty will like playing it. I've just never enjoyed playing courses where effectively the same hole / strategy is repeated over and over. Got through about 8 holes and found myself just starting to speed through, finished Rd 1 at 65 (-6), played the last 9 in 12 minutes.
Straight onto Rd 2 and just rushed through, 15 minutes for the round; tried a few interesting carries / shots that mostly didn't work; finished 70 (-1). A total of -7 and a missed cut, lets see what Dan has in store for us next week.
Good luck to those yet to play / finish.

I don’t expect everyone to like everyone to every course or anyone to like every course, it’s just impossible, Sorry this one did not suit you but thanks for the respectful way you said it. Feedback is important to me, it helps a lot, not just for picking course that people will like but for courses that might cause trouble and there has to be courses that cause trouble to add to the variety week by week. After a gentle start last week, a tougher course was picked, personally I am a big fan of this course and I think the difficulty increase was about right for early in the season. Just for you though, a sneak peak for the next couple of weeks. Troon West(web.com) and cannon at Deception point. Don’t tell anyone.

I enjoy this course so much, and with the high winds in some of these rounds, it made for some really stressful tee shots. Unfortunately the tempo gods bit me on SO many occasions, but I hung in for the best result I could. I have to say, round 4 was probably the most unique round I've ever played in this game, and to be under par in that round was a testament to my patience this week (and because I liked the course, it kept me from rage quitting). LOL
-5, -5, -6, -1 for a -17 total, so hopefully -10 makes the cut and I can at least get some money this week. I hope to be on Web all season and battle you guys for a top 25 spot on the money list at season's end.
Good luck this week everyone! Here's a look at my battle at Olmsted South if you're interested. Really enjoyed that we had such a large chat going, thanks for the LIVE watchers!
