Let's have this thread for anyone to contribute their tips and hints on how to play the TST way. I will do my best to update the OP as well.

Also as you will see in that video you will see I have the hole info in the HUD. That helps.

A great way to practice learning to read greens without the marker distance and no grid is to play some practice rounds with just the lie grid on.
First, try and read the putt on your own and line up based on your decision. Then switch clubs to LW and check the lie grid, it will give you a mini grid of about 9ft. in front & side to side. See how close you were based on your original decision, or for the longer putts that you are generally starting off in the right direction.
This will really help accelerate the learning curve if you go through this process first, and not just become lazy and go directly to the grid.

You can also turn on the rain. The ball leaves a trail on the green which will tell you how much the break actually is .

I was looking for the pics someone posted explaining the clues they look for in reading the greens, I think they would be a great addition for this thread but I cant find them! anyone know where they are ?

One thing that I have learned is if I cannot read the break it is usually left to right. I do not know if that is because my right eye is dominate?
A lot of times the putter head is pointing down on left to righter too. So it gives you a false reading.
Anyone have tips on how to pitch?
What a sh%$ show that can be.

What a sh%$ show that can be. Don't leave yourself a pitch. Plan your shots not to be 50-85 yards from the pin.

LOl well that is not always possible and where it is really difficult is from 40 to 25 yards in. I really do not like flopping it unless it is realistic to do so and the chip shot is not always going to work. It takes some super touch to get it right with the pitch shot within those yards. Problem I have with it is it seems like it can be random. I know I do not swing that far back and it goes 10 yards past the hole.

You have feedback off still I take it? That description sounds like a fast backswing to me (i.e. transition is early, just before normal backswing completion), which will add distance. For partial pitches to reduce distance you have to transition earlier than that.

Yea I do. Probably right. I practiced a little with it on the short game practice area. I need to go back and put some time into it.
