Managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of success. Finished the event at -2, should be comfortably in purgatory. No greenies, no reds either.
As far as the course goes, as long as you have a system where you can play at a decent FPS this is a beautiful but very challenging course. When your FPS is very low, then it is just plain hard and not enjoyable. But under either set of circumstances, this one IMO is too hard for CC-AM (although I do like seeing scores that are more realistic).
Onward, but we will see if I go onward as the Mayor of F-ville.

Arthur, I am sad to say but I seriously doubt you will be the mayor of F-ville going forward. After seeing your -18 and your current position at 272 out of 1094 I believe you will be moving onward and upward! You absolutely killed the Promo Tournament! Congratulations on some fine shooting! You will be greatly missed.

@sirwade59 thank you for the kind words. Your -5 will PROBABLY get you Jeffersoning, I guess ask zzfr33b1rdzz for his slide ruler to figure it out.

Congratulations, Art! Fine play for sure! <rant>I hate this course. Not because of my horrible 4th round, but because it's unnecessarily tricked up on almost every hole. Druid Burial Mounds litter the fairways and perfect drives will sometimes get kicked into the rough. There are always bunkers at the 1W and 2W or 3W distances and the terrain around the bunkers feeds into the sand, at times even if you land in the fairway close to it. Pin positions are often set where only a perfect shot will leave you close. If you miss only by a little bit left or right or short or long, you will be putting from miles away. I did okay for a couple of rounds, but even then my scores were adversely affected by the tricky nonsense, and it took some seriously good putting to stay under par. If you want a great example of a difficult course that is hard because of good design and golf strategy, try Justin Smedley's River Islands. Stunningly beautiful and supremely challenging, it is a quasi-RCR of a real course in Tennessee.</rant> I hope my rant doesn't come off as whining because everyone played in the same conditions I did. I'm not complaining because of where I finished; I'm complaining because the artificial difficulty ruined the golfing experience for me.

Thanks for the course recommendation! Since I am from Tennessee and born about an hours drive north from Kodak, I will have to give this a go!

This was my first tourney back in over a year, and I loved this course. Tough, and the scorecard reflected it.

I really enjoyed the course. Some of the holes were visually stunning! The course was difficult but it was fair. I played the course on it's default settings and I was punished for my lack of USE skill and finished at +3. I saved it as a favorite! Thanks again for the recommendation.

I really enjoyed this course, it's a thinkers course and I was still in contention coming down the stretch which is a first for me, I then had a double at 13 and bogeyed 14 and 15 which took me out of contention lol, still I'm in a tie for 3rd and a top ten finish hopefully and I will take that.

Arthur, you made CCB!! Congrats! I surprisibgly got up to CcE, a thing I never expected as I was playing s**t last week. But looking at how many CcF'ers got promoted up to C or D, it is easy to clarify why competition was so hard here during the last month! Thumbs up for everybody, see ya in the future!
