Hey everyone, I'm a newly promoted A member and had a random question. I know you have to use Masters clubs to get promoted to Web.com but if 5 + marks get you promoted do you have to use Masters clubs for all of the + marks or just the last one if you have had 4 other + mark finishes with Pro clubs before getting the final one with Masters? Hope that makes sense. You don't have to use Masters to get promoted to Web - but you have to use Masters when you play in Web. I'm sticking with Pro until the time comes (or doesn't) when I do finally get promoted.

New From CC-E here, Are there any side events Other than the Ryder Cup? The Ryder Cup competition has just finished, we've got the CC Wolf Pack Pro/Am that you've signed up for. But I'll try see if we can get other contests up and running.

Hopefully we can kick away the tumbleweed and give CongoGB some company with the new influx in to CC-A. Must admit I was quite surprised this morning, I thought missing Web by 2 shots would mean staying in CC-C because of all the Pro club users then joining the leaderboard, squeezing in to CC-A is a result! Happy to be here, let's golf!

Happy to be here, let's golf! A nice surprise after The Robins narrowly missed out on making the F A Cup quarters..... let's hope they can concentrate on earning their own promotion to the Premiership this season via the play-offs if not automatic using their games in hand. I think this thread has seen more posts in the last 24 hours than it has since new year. Let's spice it up with some healthy banter & camaraderie..... Good luck fellow CC-A listers

You no longer need to use Master Clubs to earn promotion marks in CC-A or a promotion to Web.com. That rule was changed in week 4 because very good players who only used Pro Clubs were clogging the CC-A leaderboard.

Dang, looks like I'll have to move the tv back to the lounge again. Maybe tomorrow...
My internet has been a bit wonky past day or 2 and played only 1 round so far. Flopped in for eagle on 13th and hit 2nd close on par 5 18th for another tap in eagle. Unfortunately the other 16 holes did not go so hot, signed for -9. Putter I think got bent during move from d tour.
Good luck all old and new friends

Looking at the land I came from (CCD) to this new found territory, my -43 that got me 6th in the last tournament in D would get me 25th in A. Looks like I'm going to have to golf my tail off if I want to hang around up here. Looking forward to the challenge!

Finished up last 3 rounds today. Earlier today I played half a random friendly round with a buddy and the putter was still bent, said i'll skip tourney rounds for today. 10 mins later started a youtube playlist to drown out John (had enough of his 'only inches!!!' to last me a life time) and set sail. With Pink Floyd piping through the last remaining working speaker about not having the need for any education I dropped a few birds. That did not last too long and by the time the summer of 69 came around it felt like 50 years ago a putt had dropped. If only HB had made that damn cup 1 pixel larger i'd have shot 60 under - easy. Upside was no bogeys for round 2 and 3 and by the time round 4 was winding down I was becoming a real pro, well, trying to be at least. Had this loooong uphill shot 200 odd yards to 42 feet up elevation, no club really, tried a deliberate fast down swing with whatever wood is 200 yard hb rated - even allowed for the draw - did not pull it off and bogey. Disturbed was by then saying hello to darkness and I just could not really worry about it anymore. And then came the 72 nd hole... par 5, pin sort of semi hidden behind a bunker. Actually completely out of reach with my lowly rated pro clubs, but we are cc-a rated now ... Tried that deliberate power draw again, including aiming a tad extra to the right - failed again. Horror upon horrors the ball rolled up onto the green, 68 feet to go to the pin, 1 foot uphill, plenty of blocks break right to left. Swiveled the golf toon to the right, slapped the stick and that ball rolled and rolled and rolled until it disappeared into the hole, just my luck I could not save a replay - go figure. This happened just about as the devil slipped another ace, hope it is not a sign of things to come Will post a vid that epitomises the ball rolling when I putted for most of the day
