I couldn't shoot -40 on this course in NO wind, so you should be happy with that for sure!

Nice tourney, TonyDDon. Had the pleasure of following your ghost ball around all 4 rounds

Just wanted to thank everybody for the kind words about Old Gobhar Farms, and although the winds were a bit heavy (if not absolutely brutal in round 3), Terry Grayson and I hope you enjoyed the course as much as possible. Thank you to the schedulers for allowing us to host!

Thank you to the schedulers for allowing us to host! Great design guys. Loved the goats but hated that wind round. I don’t know if the scheduler checks off with active designers on how the set up will be, but would you have wanted that condition? Just curious. Not looking to start any drama.

Personally, no, I wouldn’t have wanted those winds on that course, but as designers we leave that up to the schedulers to decide.

Not much action here, I have struggled so far, lots of terrible approaches and putts. -7, -8, -8 are my first 3 rounds with the 4th to play.

To ALL:
As designer of the "goat track" that you are playing this coming week: good luck and I hope you enjoy it. There are quite a lot of good birdie chances (and the last two holes both offer legitimate chances at an eagle-eagle finish!) - but there are a few places where being conservative might be the sensible play (starting with the opening tee shot!)
Play well - and all constructive comments on the course are welcome.

As usual, trying to figure out which clubs to put in the bag to cover any longer par threes abd par 5 approaches. Using Doyley’s weather report to fine tune. Think I’ve got it so opener today. Seeing some great scores on the LB. Always pumped up for the first two rounds.

Played well rounds 2&3 but left strokes out there. Tempo issues! I hate swing tempo! The 187 green speeds one of those rounds was an eye opener
