Finished all 4 rounds at Lee Carvallo’s putting challenge since this week I may be very busy.
63/63/66/61
Total: -31
I liked the course overall. I felt the greens rolled well even though I missed some and left a couple birds out there. If you picked the right angle and moved the ball a bit the fairway bunkers weren’t a huge issue. Although I felt like it didn’t matter where I was, I was going to be on the green in reg.
Good luck to you all.

I guess the issue for me is the placement of the bunkers...... now this is just my opinion but bunkers shouldn't be placed directly in the middle of the fairway. I am sure some guru of golf course design will come on here and flame me for my thoughts. I took this quote from an article by Jack Nicklaus..... "The purpose is to create what are essentially two fairways. One is usually wider than the other, and there's a reward for choosing the narrower side." ( Fairway Bunkers) Again, just my opinion.

Yea I can understand that and I think that’s why most rounds didn’t have much wind. I know this tournament I avoided them but I’m sure I’ll be unhappy the time I hit them every tee shot lol.

Well this kind of thing got old real quick...... seems like most fairways had traps in the center of most landing areas. I am a terrible player and found myself in these a lot, but really? Just don't agree with this no matter what tour you are on, but that's my 2 cents. I hear ya. This is why I have a 2W. Usually gets me just shy of things like this with a reasonable distance in...

You can try and squeeze it through the gap to the left which gives you a much shorter second or you can lay back behind the bunkers with a lesser club. All depends on the wind also but theres a few options here.

Middle of the pack again after 2 rounds, 66, 65...
I didn't mind the bunkers, though just made me think a little harder in where I wanted to place the shots.

61-63-62-64, for -34 total. Currently T-7 among Masters club users, so I might get a promotion mark out of this! This would be even more exciting if there were more weeks left in the season.
Double bogeyed 16 in R2 after driving into the bunker and failing to get out of the bunker on the 2nd shot. Birdied the first 6 holes in R3!
Fun course all around, but I was more peeved by that par 4 that sloped towards the heavy rough if you used driver off the tee (compared to the fairway bunkers). I think I'm talking about the 6th or 7th hole?

EDIT: Sorry for quote, I found it.

Managed to get 3 great rounds last week and 1 decent round(66-59-60-61) finish T9 best finish of the year so far, hoping to finish off this season with another good performance, first round was a little disappointing only managed a 67 but hoping to go low the next 3 rounds.... on a side note I went down a rabbit hole with the season stats and found out that I am currently leading the CC-E tour with total Eagles with 65 which too my amazement is 20% more than 2nd place. I had no clue I had that many Eagles this season!

OK, my poor play using master clubs these past few weeks will be giving me 2 demotion marks this week, in addition to the 4 I already have makes for 6! But I do feel like I am getting the hang of them...... except for putting. That is killing me!
So, I'll be starting in CC-F next season? If so, do I start with a clean slate there or does the extra mark carry over?

I’m back in the “Cone of Silence” division to start the new season. Hoping that we got some more activity here this season! Tempo issues hurt me down the stretch and the free fall was rapid! Good luck this season everyone!
