Very nice course and enjoyable to play. -6 in R1 with 0 bogeys. Just couldn't hit anything close enough to make birdies with my terrible putting. I did chip well (100% scrambling) though. Any guesses on cut line? I'm thinking -15

I am SO looking forward to this rivalry with you! What's the bet for this week?
EDIT: Oh wait, you're a PS4 player, so you have to give me 2 strokes!

Awesome course, one of my favorites I've played so far. Was -19 thru 2 rounds, threw away a couple here and there. I need a decent finish this week because I am terrible on the Olmsted!

I would say that its is very likely that I am the lowest ranked player. Q school was my first time every playing on the TGC tours. Stumbled on to this website on accident. This might be the coolest video game community I've ever seen. I am in awe by what has been built here and how cool it is. I missed the European tour by fractions on my last putt in Q school. Not bad for my first run at this. I look forward to improving and competing with you guys.

I too am terrible at The Olmsted.

Eric, How do you add the pictures you have each time you post? I cant figure out how to do it under my profile. Sorry, off topic. Click "Profile" at the top of this page, then on the next screen over the the right side click the gray button that said "Edit Profile," and then on that page click the second tab that says "Personal." In the "Signature" area of that form you have to put html image tag locations, and then it will show up in your signature on every post. Hope that helps!

Well looks like I'll be missing the cut on my own course. Here's the completed course thread in case you're interested in learning a bit more about it. tgctours.proboards.com/thread/14626/potter-lake-ported-tgc2019You may want to consider adding the 2 wood this week--it'll potentially help on holes 3, 6, and 11. The front 9 is much tougher than the back--you can really make up strokes at the finish. My tempo was a disaster and couldn't putt, leading to over par front nines in each round. However I was able to get it back under par on the back. I've just released Grove City Golf Club this past week. If you enjoy your rounds here, perhaps give that one a try. Thanks, Dan, for scheduling this one. Wish I could put my local knowledge to better use this week! I got to say i just played all 4 rounds on this course and really enjoyed it. Bedes just kicked my butt and wasn't able to make up enough ground on the mountain to get into Web but just saw that i could play this even through the society even though i am not really in the tournament. Just wanted to play a round and see how i stacked up but ended up enjoying this course a lot and ended up playing all 4 rounds. Shot -11, -6, +1, -6 for -22 total

Well, an extremely disappointing start to the season. Hole 4 on this course killed my momentum in just about every round, and by the looks of it, I won't make the cut anyway. Bummer way to start the season, but looking forward to the Olmsted South course next week.
63-66-64-65 = -26

My putter let me down in R1, sat 6 putts on the lip! R2 was a bit better but had a few random VF approaches which hurt. Ended up shooting 67 & 63 for -12 at the cut. pretty sure i wont be unpacking my bags, might just take out a spare pair of undies for the flight back to CC lmao

Seeing the veritable who's who of players on the Web Tour right now I felt it was my head ranger duty to play this week. Went with my Q-School strategy of absolutely no practice, because why start doing something if doing nothing is working?
Off to a great start as my second shot of the season is fast/fast. Fortunately the bounces and rolls went my way and I ended up close enough for an eagle putt which I made. Debated ending my season right then and there as that seemed like it would give a happy ending to my season 5 story. Chose to keep going hoping I won't regret it.
Things were uneventful and and efficient after that. Putting was solid and saved or earned me a few strokes. Slow downswing on 15 cost me my only bogey of the day. Fast downswing on 18 left me way off the fairway but I still managed a birdie there. Overall it was fairly smooth sailing to a -9.

Round 3 in the bag... -4 At the turn then birdied the last six holes coming home for a -10 ... putting was much better and the fact that i play tst regularly probably gave me an advantage with the windy conditions. On to round 4!
