Just wanna echo what Paul said above. Please never use "noon" as a setting. It makes the courses look awful, if for no other reason. Stick with afternoons or mornings. Or default, probably the best choice in most cases.
I think Arctic is very talented designer for fantasy tracks but I am not a fan to be honest. They are pretty looking but a lot of clown mouths going on. Ironically in my 4LW society we are playing Pearl this week and I am forcing myself to play it.
The problem you guys will have is we do not have that many RCRs so we will be playing a lot of non RCRs for TST. Be some tough choices I would guess. I have spent a lot of time with setting up courses and just tip for the TST staff. Dawn, Morning and Dusk make courses look pretty good most times. Noon a lot of the times washes the course out but afternoon is better. There are some cool things you can do with the wind and the wind direction as well.
This is a good short course to test and warm up. Has decision making involved, and some tricky greens. Obviously we won't be playing anything like this, but that's why it's an exhibition event. As we get closer to the start we'll start "normalizing" the courses and choices.
Regarding conditions, that's a bummer about Noon, go figure, we get the power and it is of no use. I'll remember that and push for afternoon instead.
