Rounds 1-4: The Low Course at St Bedes (Tip - search for 'Bedes' in-game)
This course is going to be a tough test for all TGCT members. Course management and minimizing mistakes will be the key to keeping a respectable score. Rounds 5-8: Pearl Mountain
This scenic delight will likely yield lower scores than St. Bedes, but that just brings a different challenge. Keep your foot on the gas and try to keep ahead of the charge behind you! Tees: Both playing from the tips. Disclaimer: Those of you that end up in the CC-Pro or CC-Am range - please know that we will not be giving you courses of this difficulty (mainly St. Bedes) very often, if ever. They are required to separate the higher skilled players for our Q-School purposes. If you end up in the Challenge Circuit (Pro or Am) you will be getting much less challenging (frustrating) courses during your stay there.

In reference to the disclaimer, I'm not that great, I'll end up in around CC-D, but why don't or why can't they give us courses (like the Low Course at St. Bedes) that are of higher difficulty but adjust the settings to make them more playable?? I'd like to see some of these nicer and tougher courses more often than some of the cow pastures they throw at us on the lower tours. TGCTours does a great job so I'm not trying to complain, but I am trying to get the logic. I've shot -7 or -8 in the odd round here and there, while the leader is -15. Why not give us tougher courses with the appropriate settings per tour level that would make me play at at around par with the leader being around say -4 per round??
IMO, -16 per round scores and -50 tourney winners are just so unrealistic and dumb, and personally, I don't enjoy playing games that are too easy (like in the old TW games) so I don't get why these 'superstars' even bother. It's also not much fun going -17 in a tourney and still losing by 30+ strokes.
Realism is key to any good golf game and The Golf Club and TGCTours make it pretty cool and great, but don't short-change anybody at any level when settings can be adjusted to improve that realism and enhance everyone's experience. Peace
*I'll go play St. Bedes now and see just how tough it is. If i get slaughtered I'll come back and admit it. *settings: beginner clubs, wind low, morning, light cloud, fast, firm, firm, black tees, #2 pins
** YUP!! Got slaughtered. 16 over. That course is nuts, and my argument wasn't about my skill level either, so maybe not courses that are quite that difficult... and from the whites, not the tips. needless to say... Q school ain't gonna be easy, but that's ok. Good Luck!! **
