Yeah. Breaking the habit of a lifetime for me. Would always play for 45/55/65 yards previously and avoid the flop unless I absolutely had to hit it.
In 19 I am finding the pitch the hardest shot to execute consistently
IMO the hardest shot in this game in the long-range putt, anything longer that 50 feet. and if it is uphill, forgetaboutit. Weirdly, my long range putting in this game is exceptionally good! Miles better than TGC2... Bloody golf!!!

I think putting has about the same overall difficulty as TGC2 except it’s easier to push/pull. It does seem a bit harder to read the greens/beads to me. I mean see them on some courses. But I’m using a 65” OLED as a display.

As a longtime World tour member whos been generally struggling like hell with the game since it came out, ergo i may fall well down the tours after Q-School i say...
Im all for it.
Excellent way to freshen the whole place up, and love the wind changes on the top tours.
I can still fire -14/-15 rounds but then have a disastrous -2/-3 so who knows what the 8 Q-School rounds will bring, but eh, so what, itll be fun either way, if i dont make that 150 cut for PGA...so be it, let the chips fall where they may and work my way back.
Bring on Season 5...but first the Ryder...

There really is no need for debate on this. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but there are some distinguishable facts here. The club sets are difficulty levels, and therefore, with 11 different tours available, the top 3 have been determined to be pro tours requiring the most difficult club set.
I don’t mean to be insensitive, it’s not my intention, but we live in a world where the predominant norm is becoming the notion that “I should be able to do X, and receive the same benefits as Y.” No! If you want to play pro or beginner clubs, you have been given 8 tours to do that on with a full career mode experience. If you want to be on the pro tours, then you need to use masters clubs, because that is the rule. There is no “I should be able to compete however I want.”
I can assure you that the admin team has taken into account as many anecdotal situations as possible, and carefully considered the outcomes (i.e. the threat that “so many people will quit because of this”). As leaders, they have made a conscious decision to conduct the tours with a structure that has the greatest good for the greatest amount of people.
Again, I don’t mean to be insensitive, but there IS responsible leadership on this [FREE] website. As participants, we either move forward, or move on.
I’m not saying you all have to agree with all the changes. Not saying that at all, because we’re all entitled to our feelings and opinions. But the decision is made, there is no further debate, and the tours WILL be a great success in Season 5. Those are the facts.
Now, let’s hit the range and practice. Fore!

Or to paraphrase.... suck it up. LOL, no, but let me ask you this... Can you join a racing website for, I don’t know, Gran Turismo and demand to compete at the highest level with all of the driving assists on? Can I show up at the Philadelphia Eagles stadium today and say I should get to play at the pro level because I want to, even though my skills aren’t at that level? It’s not about sucking it up. It’s about being willing to accept the outcome of a decision.

Assume that in the CC-Pro and CC-AM divisions, if wanted, we can turn off all aids and these are not going to be locked to on? Wind meter, green grids, scout cam, putting marker? Just the way I like to play. Will be set to Any - meaning if you want to play with green grids off etc you can.

I just hope they don't turn on the "ScrewTim" setting this season. Not even sure it's in 2019, I've looked around but can't find it, hopefully its not in this version.

paulus - Okay, cool. Sorry, I couldn't tell if you were insinuating that I was being a jerk about it or if you were affirming my point. Thanks!

We all know that unless you are in the PGA you aren't getting to the Masters. But I do hope there are some special tournaments here and there thrown in for those in the lower tiers because there are in the Euro, Web.com and even the lower flights in real life. They may not be as prestigious as the Masters or the Open Championship, but they are still important. Fully agree. Special tournaments that have some entry level exclusivity should also exist within the tour structure outside of PGA Open qualifying for the US Open and Open Championship are still in Season 5 where all of TGCT has a shot of getting in. Same with CC qualifying for Masters/PGA Championship - a few slots will be available there. Outside of that there aren't any plans of doing anything other than WGC events, Tournament of Champions type stuff on the PGA Tour.

Putting is my Achilles heel , i suck at this game, but i'll give a chance with master clubs , i can't hit the broad side of the barn if it was straight in front of me with master clubs .
