I'm clearly not cut out to play with the big boys. I know that there are a few guys waiting in the wings that score much better than I do. Please remove me from Group H. It was fun to play with you guys but I'm just not that good at the game to stay up with you guys. As others have stated, any new player always starts in the bottom group irrespective of their level. The better players will move up the groups through promotion eventually leading it to a fairer groups for all and all of a similar ability. I have been relegated the past 2 seasons and looking like a 3rd as more of the better xbox players have joined the society. You have been extremely unfortunate in that you have joined the same time as 2 of the top 20 or so xbox players have who play on the Platinum Tour. You should have a much fairer group next season for sure as they will more than likely get promoted due to people leaving in higher groups and natural promotion and relegation. |

Group H update: dansamp and savagegolfer89 have gone to wire!!! But.... only 1 gets into matchplay. With the rules dansamp takes top spot due to hitting most max pts a rd in the season with 4. With savage only getting 3! Great fight alway through the season |

Current situations
Group A
Miguel is currently top, 1 point ahead of Burntly. Only DemonOnDalinks to play, if he shoots a -12 or better, Demon will cost Miguel the top spot to Burntly on countback of most wins in the season and also move XcL Taff down into the relegation play-off game.
Group B
Labyrinth has secured top spot and promotion back to Group A, its a 4 way run-of for 2nd place, with xEB50X looking like favourite only needing to finish 4th in this weeks rounds to finish 2nd and have the promotion play-off spot
Group C
Ashur in on a charge and will be in Group B in Season 26, Jens will have a chance to join him in the promotion play-off.
Group D
Can anyone stop MTDonald, even with 5 consecutive round wins, might still not be enough with missing Round 1, a -19 or better for Digs will take him to the top spot
Group E
Panic is certainly looking like they will be moving up to D, a 3rd place round finish will secure that. A straight shootout between Berty and RedRhino for the 2nd spot, with Rhino4Life having an outside chance should they capitulate.
Group F
Mr Moore has been unstoppable, looks like he will take a clean sweep of wins and move up, with aradmcc very close behind in the play-off
Group G
The group that time and people forgot, Wizzfox up, Sanchez has a shot in the play-offs
Group H
Dansamps take it on countback of more weekly wins, Savagegolfer will join him up next year via the play-off route and drop-outs ... as will most of this group

I played after Savage, and was shaking my head and laughing after every hole as he just kept going birdie, birdie, birdie, birdie.... I think at one point we were both -8 or -9 through 10 holes in R1. I was able to snag a 1 stroke lead after R1, and then had a two shot lead for the back 9 of R2 so was able to play semi-conservatively to win it out. I wasn't sure what the tiebreaker was, but glad to get the W! EDIT: Also, for an S&M noob, how does the match play work?? |

While the rest of us play in the Best of the Rest tournament within the society, Ideally you would play your game live against your opponent within the timeframe of the round, i.e. within 4 days, however If you can't play your game live against your opponent, then you both play your rounds in the society and xcltaff1980 will compare both scorecards and score them as if it was a match play game, i.e. if you birdied the 1st and your opponent hit a par, you would be 1up after 1 hole |

I tried to throw a monkey wrench in it...was playing rd 1 and tin cupped 3 straight drives on 18 into the water. |
