Ok, Week 4, Waste Deep in Coyote Country.
I am 2 for two with my original analysis at telling you what the cut line will be come midnight on Friday nights, shall we continue this streak and make it 3 for 3? shall I rival the Hawks winning streak (currently 16 thank you very much).
So here goes:
So far 85 members have submitted at least one round, Art Patsheck continues his struggles (not picking on him, he is just in the wrong tour as he is looking at his 3rd strait missed cut and is currently over par when all scores are combined for him, he desperately needs to be moved to web or champions tour where he will have a better go at making the cuts)
Of those 85 players, a whooping 40 players have posted -20 or better through 2 rounds, and another 6 are -10 or better through 1 round, this right here is the tell tell sign we may see our highest (or lowest depending on how you look at it) cut line of the entire season. Thus far, 50 players are projected to be -20 or better of the players who have submitted score cards.
Then there are up to 48 players who have not yet entered either of the rounds. Among these 48 are the likes of: Doyley, Thrangar, C. Mattax, Burger, Moore, N. Russell, and others, these guys will have no problems hitting that -20 milestone either.
So lets break it down further:
48 players left, half of them projected to make the cut, half of them not.
of the single round scores, double those up and our cut (without the 48 remaining players) would be somewhere in the neighborhood of -12, but the gap in players from -12 to -20 is only 20 spots.......
so lets go back to those 48 remaining players, and the half thing.
24 of them making the cut,.....brings the cut line to -20 or better, but last week we saw quite the handful of dnf, even by some that made the cut, but......for the sake of this, lets keep it simple:
-20 is the cut for week 4, with a massive tie for -20, 15 or more players will be locked up @ -20, will you be one of them?
If you are sitting @ -21 or better, you are in, if you are sitting at -19 or worse, pack your bags and head west.
