Just a beautiful course! I played it a while back with a bit more wind and struggled! For some reason today I played one of my best rounds when looking at all facets of the game. Putting was crazy! I wish I knew how to bottle it. Anyway, I’m not a cocky jacka$$, I just really enjoyed that round, and wanted to share it with you all. 57 (-14) yet on my tgct rounds I’m 7 strokes less That is an awesome score Rob. I agree the course is great ... except for that stupid Biarritz 7th green! It's way too deep. I nearly fell asleep waiting for my ball to stop rolling back and forth ... twice! -14 is impressive. as of last night, that was the best score by 7 strokes. Somehow i made the putt out of that gully in the middle of the 7th green. I would post the replay, but i have no idea what i am doing.lol

I just noticed I was “tagged” and being technologically flawed as I am did not know about this. I will go back and read the rest of the threads and figure out what and where to play lol. And sadly, I just figured out how to find out I was tagged haha! I’ve always seen the numbers by my profile but wasn’t sure how to get to them 😂

OK, first event and I laid an egg! 78 (+7) My putting was horrendous! So many putts missing, I rarely had a perfect swing and I was either long over the green or short. This is one of those days where your go straight to the 19th hole and have a few cold ones. :-)

Event 2 ends in less than 10 hours. Event 3 will run for 3 days over the weekend. We go from New York to Austin, Texas for some fun in Zilker Park. This one is a bit of a concept course from the Survivor contest so it will be interesting to see the reactions. The matches for event 3 are: E3 @ Zilker Park (Fri 10th Aug to Sun 12th Aug)

I have updated the spreadsheet scores, matches and tables for Event 2. They can be found here: Scores, Matches & Tables
After two rounds the early leaders are: Div A - xEB50x ( xEB50x ) - Rob is the only player to go 2 from 2. You're playing me in Event 3 so that will probably go to 3 from 3! Div B - MDH Rem ( lessangster ) & MagneticPanda31 ( MagneticPanda31 ) are the only players to go 2 from 2 and are matched against each other for Event 3. Div C - cypher cat ( cyphercat ) & Chappers 57 ( chappers57 ) are the only players to go 2 from 2 and these are also matched against each other for Event 3. In USA vs Rest of the World tournament, the USA gained some ground in Event 2 but are still trailing the RoW by 36 to 24. There were 5 DNFs in this round, and for 4 of those I do not have forum tags. If you happen to know the tags of the players, can you please let me (or them) know.

I enjoyed Zilker Park! I shot even par, but was -4 after 10 hole. I feel like I am getting better but maybe that's in my own mind! I do have a question, I was in a deep bunker and could only see the upper half of my body, when I pressed the right trigger I couldn't see my lie? How can I see my lie in that situation? Thanks!

If you press the left stick you cycle through three different camera angles - at least one of which is more 'from above' than the default camera - you should hopefully then be able to see enough

I just couldn’t get anything going on Zilker Park I think it was because it was so wide open if the tee you didn’t have to concentrate on hitting the ball straight. I should have played a practice round

I should have played a practice round I should have played a different course! I scored worse than you. You also didn't mention the gale force winds. I struggled to hit the greens and the putts kept shaving the hole.

I don’t think I payed it the respect it deserved, I got on the first tee and thought I can hit this anywhere and not get in any bother and I think that filtered down to the iron shots. I also found one of the only bit of heavy rough on the course ended up with a 55 to 75% lie 😔 Lesson learned
