Well what a round after 4 disastrous practice rounds. First 9 I thought here we go again 3 over after 9 then I came back in a pleasing 3 under to finish level par. Still a few wayward drives and once you get in the thick stuff your not going to move it to far up the fairway, quite pleased with two bogies and a double on the front nine and none on the back. @wheezingnoonan better get your inhaler taken before you go out 😜 That’s your score to shoot at good luck bud. I really don't know why, but it is starting to bother me that I don't fix my ballmark on the green before I putt.

Ha! Inhaler...nice!. As much as I am working now, the rum works fast so you may come out Rosie

Noonan sans inhaler until the 15th due to no carts allowed on the fairways shoots a -6. Helluva lot better than my previous round in match play where I fought a few more fast downswings. Luckily I aimed right most the time this round so wasn’t affected quite as much.

With just over a week to go to the end of this season, I'd appreciate some feedback on how you think things are going in this season. Are you enjoying the added rivalry in the society? Also, I'm not sure which way to go with the imminent arrival of TGC2019. I'm currently thinking of running another 7 event rivals season 13 in TGC2 before moving over to the TGC2019. There are a few reasons for this: - Give people time to get the new game
- TGC Tours is finishing out its season in TGC2 so players will still be coming into TGC2 to play
- There have been a lot of great courses released recently in TGC2
- Let the bugs come out of the XB1 version of the TGC2019 in those first couple of weeks and give the designers time to port over their courses
I expect to purchase TGC2019 soon after launch so will run a test season 1 in a new TGC2019 society to learn how things have changed in the new game but won't start the rivals league until season 2.
Thoughts?

In my case once the new game comes out I will be playing it and trying to get used to it. I don’t see the point in trying to switch between the two, I know the swing shouldn’t change that much but it might be just different enough to cause problems. If you set another season away though I will play all my matches as I will have committed. Put me down for your test season on 2019

I am really enjoying this season and I appreciate the effort you are putting in to this society. I will switch to the new game as soon as it comes out and I look forward to playing in the society there.

This grumpy old git will save up some of his old age pension and purchase the new game when it eventually is released in the U.K. I will carry on being a participant in the seniors, and also hopefully we can play alternate shot matches, just need to find a partner.

I really like the format, I think the relegation and promotion for top and bottom of each group is a great idea. It puts even more stress/excitement into the final few matches and great for those trying to climb the ranks, and those that were a bit outclassed during the course of each season! As for tgc2019. I most likely will jump right into it. Haven’t decided, I guess it depends on different the swing feels.
