Guess I'll be 1'st
CCB on exemption to A for this one.
Started my computer. Steam updates.(It actually did lol) Should have quit right then lol
Round 1 all I can say is "slow/fast" can take either a slow or fast trip right up my arse. I have not had so many slow/fasts in I don't remember when. Found nearly every fairway bunker or green side bunker there is. Only 3 bogies but fought for my pars. Finished a 71. Even.
Round 2 was determined not to let my disgust get to me and shot a bogey free round of 60 (-11)
Round three right when I'm teeing off I get a big red game message in the lower right saying the "Eddie Vedder event was now over" Yeah thanks for that right in the middle of my swing..slow/fast=bogie
So in the end I blew my exemption all to hell. I blame Steam, or possibly myself...or the old lady down road. Yeah I'll go yell at her.
R1 71 (EVEN). R2 60 (-11) R3 66 (-5) R4 63 (-8)
Would like to finish above the strike line to get my A card. Doubtful though
I'll leave this little nugget here. 18'th hole, final round.
Bet you thought it was going in.

I'm pretty sure I played with your ghost for last week's tourney to challenge myself with some friendly (ghost) competition. Good rounds 2-4. Will play with your ghost again But in seriousness, hope you stay up man, and great shot on 18...would have been a helluva way to finish a tournament.

Played rounds 1 & 2 tonight. Overall it went well. Missed a lot of putts... and had some weirdness sprinkled in to make it an interesting night. Great Drive...uninspiring putt. Ghosts live within these Hibiki Hills.... The most egregious example... I literally can't even...

I literally can't even... That's not magnets around the hole. That's called a lip out. Happens all the time I've seen it on real courses with a real ball and hole. The side of the cup deflects the ball. There's been many a time when I've wished golf holes sucked...literally, so this won't happen, but alas, that's just not part of the design of a golf course. This is one of the most realistic things I've seen in TGC; Both 1 and 2.

Maybe it's not as evident on a small screen and without audio, but the ball makes contact with the flagstick and if you watch closely the ball accelerates out of the hole, almost as if being pulled by a magnet. It's very subtle and was more noticeable to me at 60fps while playing last night, but regardless, at the speed the ball was travelling that would drop in the hole 99% of the time if it's close enough to center-cup to hit the flag. Either way, thanks for the view.

First shot at B in over a year!
Let’s just say I do NOT like this course. -3 in R1. Looks like others struggled in R1 on PC, though, so we’ll see.

Either way, thanks for the view. Your ball wasn't as close to center as the one in the video above and that one lipped out. Your video looks like a miss to me just as the video above looks like a miss.

Your video looks like a miss to me just as the video above looks like a miss. Hmmmmmm, that's an okay example, but 2 observations. 1) Tiger's ball was carrying a lot more speed. 2) I don't think it hits the pin (it's hard to tell). On this point, how do you explain the audible sound of my putt hitting the pin? In that respect, I would argue that my putt was closer to center than Tiger's, or at least falling into the center after it catches the lip. Anyways, we could argue till we're blue in the face, but I think we could all agree that we've all holed out with shots in this game that are carrying an exceptional amount of speed that hit the pin and drop when they have no right to. I felt that there was a general weirdness to the result of my putt, which seemed to be the theme of the night. That's all. Let's just carry on shall we.

I took a video of the same thing last week when playing a practice round. Was going to post it here to let the powers that be know there was a problem with this hole. Then before that I saw a thread or post in the bugs or driving range talking about the "floating putt" bug. I had never noticed this issue before Hibiki Hills and only noticed it this time because it's so pronounced here. Now I notice it a lot, a lot of long putts the ball seems to float at the beginning. You can really notice it on this hole though.

It threw me off my game so much that I missed easy putts ... #Steamupdate

By the way... why'd you have to consistently drain your chips? It threw me off my game so much that I missed easy putts ... #Steamupdate Lol sorry about that. That’s why I don’t play with ghosts. (Occasionally I do when playing just for fun, never in the official events though) I get too distracted by them. Or get in the race to catch up mode if they are ahead of me.
