Here is my newest, Majestic Oaks Golf Club. It is also my submission for the Tastgw course contest. Please give it a try this weekend, any feedback you have is hugely beneficial. I wont be posting it for review on the TGCTours.com site until after Jan 31 and the results of the contest. I included a very thoughtful video below to show you (hopefully) that it is worth your time and consideration.

Any feedback you can give me would be very much appreciated. Good, bad, but hopefully not indifferent. Thanks - Nic

Very enjoyable course! Very good looking, fun to play. Challenging and forces you to play different shots. If I was to critique anything it would be the use of trees in the playing line on a few too many occasions..I think a couple are great to make you work the ball a bit but I think it takes away something from the experience as a whole when you can't see what you're aiming at. But overall a great experience!

Just played it again and it's a very good track Nic! I see what you mean on 5, I think it's ok but I chose the safe option with 3-wood off the tee and couldn't clear the tree. Then again it's risk/reward, if I would've hit driver to the right I would've had a clear shot so I don't know...anyway the tree there is not so punishing, still landed on the green. The other one I thought of was no 7...it's the same thing, risk/reward. Do I go for the narrow fairway on the right or safe to the left? Only this time if you go the safe route you're kind of blocked out by a tree so it kinda removes the risk/reward as the safe option is not so safe if you know what I mean...might as well risk the narrow route. But I really like the variety of approach shots needed, good planting and I love the little touches with the Gazebos spread around the course. Has a very comfortable feel to it!

If you play 7 hard left (by the bunkers you can get a clear shot), but yes, makes you work for it. Fairways are easy to hit in this game, everyone can fade, draw. Wanted there to be advantages to a particular side of the fairway. Plenty of pro courses in the real world force you to work one side of the fairway over the other. The science is taking over, so using fade draw more to gain an advantage (a bit more guessing game) I think adds a bit of challenge without being foolish or tricky.
Thanks - Hopefully Taste and then the TGCTours review teams like it...

Really enjoyed this course. Some excellent creativity, a nice layout with good flow, and lots of shot shaping required. I liked many of the holes, but the closing stretch on the back nine is really special. 17 could hold its own against any of the best par 4s on this game and would belong at any exclusive club in real life. Thanks for your great work here.

Fantastic course, played it yesterday. Great shotmaking track, well placed eye candy. I gave it 9.5 out of 10.

Played this again and its a must play for everyone in my humble opinion. It is one of the best all around courses out there. Very enjoyable round. Just wanted to bump the thread up and hope more people play and enjoy it.
