Hi guys & gals,
Been a busy week at work for me so haven't had time to keep up on the forums as much as usual. We're going to carry on with W27 on the site - everything business as usual - except we'll disable demotion strikes/demotions for all tours this week.
If you were affected by the server issues and were put back in a position where you can replay an already completed round, feel free to do so. If you are stuck in the middle and can't finish - send an email to commish@tgctours.com and we can withdraw you on Sunday. This will give you a Did not Play in your stats instead of a WD (without the strikes). If getting a strikeless Withdrawal doesn't bother you then you need not do anything and just hope HB's servers hold up for future events!
Thanks!

So.... you're giving the ok to the withdrawal method, then?

I would make the tournies no strike until it fixes itself that might be fair to everyone as well as some people played the second round and did worse not knowing they had the ability not to play at all.

I believe that is what he said?
“- everything business as usual - except we'll disable demotion strikes/demotions for all tours this week. ”

All things considered, with the logistics involved, this is a fair decision and one that reflects how much the administrators value the concept of fair play. Kudos.

We're still looking into people with corrupted rounds - some of these cases may be solved by grabbing scores via a different method - once I hear back from Tim we can give more info on when/if that may happen. Until then please have patience as we have a butt load of tickets that we are holding off on answering as this workaround may solve a bunch of them at once.

Okay no strikes or demotions, what about exemptions?

How does this effect people playing on exemptions on the tour above?

Since it's moving month - we won't be adjusting any exemptions manually - there are just too many for Jeff and I to keep on top of with all the other tickets we're dealing with. If you are affected negatively, our apologies but there are still 3 more events with the exemption line set at 20%.

No, as per top post - everything else is status quo. Exemptions will be going on as per usual this week at 20%. The above I said is in reference to people that had issues this week and were on exemptions and were hoping they'd carry over to next week. That requires us to do manually for each case which, unfortunately, we don't have the free time to do.

Was wondering why my rounds weren’t showing up on Euro.

We did the best we could under the circumstances - this past week was a bit of a gong show with well over 75+ tickets reporting issues. Thanks for your patience - we fixed the ones we could and withdrew people that we could tell had issues. The rest will likely have WD's on your stats - but no strikes were given out.
Clear strikes didn't run either as that's tied to the process that gives the strikes/demotions out. Also noticed the Web.com exemption line has been acting up - will need Tim to take a deeper look into why it isn't showing up. at this point I may be able to hand them out manually - just can't do it until events open up on site.
