Hi, I donated too and thanks for your amazing job!
I have a problem concerning my last tournament (CC-A). The leadeboard shows I withdrew, which is not true. I actually played a very solid tourney and scored a -35. Would it be possible for the administrators to check and let me know?

I haven’t been a part of this wonderful society long and not been playing the game very long either. However it’s clear to see that the creators of TGCTours and the community around it is just fabulous, and I will be making a donation in the near future  A suggestion from me is, how about incorporating an actual real money tournament? Players would buy into the tournament using real cash. A percentage of that cash would go to TGCTours. The rest would be the purse and used as the winnings to pay out the top players of the tournament (obviously the winner gets the most) Just a suggestion which would generate the cash that TGCTours need and an incentive for the players to play for real cash! Thanks |

The rest would be the purse and used as the winnings to pay out the top players of the tournament (obviously the winner gets the most) Two main reasons for no real cash events are 1. Once we start making money off events we'd have to drop all the real tour names/events 2. Once we introduce money you can win, the seedy underworld of TGC2 would explode to levels much beyond what we have now In a controlled event (ie everyone in the same building w/ supplied stock equipment) it would be real fun to do a money event and see who's the best of the best - but don't ever see that happening. For now people can just be happy winning fake money and having bragging rights that their significant other will roll their eyes over. |

Yes it is a great site & community - which needs to fund itself if it's to thrive Online gambling golf site - while I'm sure more than a few of us would have a go  There's all manner of legal reasons it couldn't happen and about 10 times as many logistical reasons. I wouldn't hold your breath... |

Can this be looked into? Think it would really vamp things up and benefit everyone. It would be a separate tournament and would not have to contain the real course/tournament names...

Hi Jakie I’m not sure of how much you know about what has gone on here regarding the varying states of playability of this game online as I know you are only new. Doyley mentioned the seedy underworld of TGC2 and by that he is talking about all the things that have caused grief amongst the punters - swing lag, swing (insert C word here) as well as issues across platforms. And that’s before you talk about club sets. Add to that the varying laws across all countries for online gambling which it is essentially and it’s just not even worth looking at. Keep real golf for the betting. |

Dude - it 'aint gonna happen - the player base would have to be split by region for a start - there are different gambling laws in different regions. The amount of legal compliance required for a gambling site that holds other peoples money & financial information is ridiculous - required to be done for every territory/country you support.... ongoing... as laws change all the time. Donations are the only way TGCT can "vamp" things up |

More people than already do would bend the rules to try and win. The only thing it would vamp up is ill feeling as far as i can see (and there's quite enough b%&ing around here as it is  ) |

Once you’ve been on tour here for a month or two, you’ll get a sense of the drama that unfolds here when there’s no money involved . Throw real 💰 into it , and this place goes crazy! |

Playing for $$$ is a non-starter here, IMO.
I understand where this comes from, but it cannot stand up on its own two legs in this structure.
