I forgot that it was a major this week. That's pretty cool!
This whole CC Moving Month thing is getting kind of nuts. Aren't the promotions outweighing the demotions? I feel like the result of this is going to be gigantic fields in CC-Pro for the next few months, which will make it even harder to fight your way out of.
Anyway I'm happy with where I'm at this week especially since I just remembered about the major thing. I've never been within 3 strokes of the lead going into the last round before! (CC-C) I know I have an opportunity for a win or runner-up, but I'm just going to focus on not blowing up and missing the exemption chance. I would be thrilled to finish in the top 10.

Have you seen the size of CC-E fields recently? One recent tournament had over 200 entrants meaning the clear strikes line and the double strikes line were the same! The number of sponsor's exemptions and the number of players above/below the clear-strikes line are percentages of the field size, so as the field grows, more exemptions are available and more players clear their strikes. There shouldn't be any change to how difficult it is to earn an exemption or a promotion while playing on an exemption. As for moving month, yes, the promotions will likely outnumber the demotions. That's a good thing. We're trying to move qualified players up towards CC-Pro and clear some of the overload from CC-Am. On the high side, we're also looking to get some CC-Pro players bumped up to Web.com!

Thanks for clearing that up, Pat!

I’m just happy to be within three strokes of you! Normally, I gotta look up about 40 places to find your name! Hoping I’ll be able to put in one more good round to finish top 20 this week — a welcome change.

Well that's what you want to hear So theoretically you could make the tour from C in about 5 weeks. Not me just yet tho, everytime I shoot a great round I've followed it up with a very average round. It's the players who can consistently average around -11 across the 4 who stand a good chance. I average around -7 at the moment Youd be surprised. Based on last weeks results, youd get the exception if you shot -7 all four rounds. The exemption line was only at -25 (lol, "only"). Double-digits under par each round will get you a lot of winning opportunities, but 6-10 under each round will get you close to an exemption, at the least, each week. The big thing to remember is that as talent increases with each tour, the courses get tougher as well. I'm -28. Bang on my average score. It'll be tight. I've had 4 failed attempts at getting out of Cc-D so far and this is the first time I have got a decent score on the pro track. Your not wrong about the difficulty increasing

The joys of moving month lol.

I say it again and again... this game is impossible to play. The frame rate is always changing, which means the “correct” tempo is always changing. First hole perfect perfect, perfect perfect, and two putts. By the 16th, I was hitting pitch shots very fast. Like honestly, what the f*ck? What am I supposed to do? Impossible to play? May I ask what your score was that round?

It was the inconsitentcy of the tempo which seems to happen in every round. I’ve checked, I highly doubt it’s me as I can go into a blank plot, hit some practice shots and be perfect/perfect for quite a few shots in a row. I mean, I’m not going to go out and say that I’m perfect at this game, but I could surely score a lot better if the tempo would stay the same.

Had a crazy week - 65-68-60-62 for -33. Looks like I'll have my CC-B full-time exemption this week with a bonus of sponsors exemption to A. Actually, I played well enough to be inside the line to get to Web lol. Not sure what clicked, but something did.

So if the score wasn't an issue, why not just turn off the meter? So many people have great scores on here but obsess over that damn meter. I turned it off a long time ago and just let the result of the shot be my feedback. It's actually pretty freeing.

A had a similar week. One round of 60 and the rest in the 65-67 range. I managed to fall out of the CC-A exemption over the course of a Saturday last week but I've got two strokes to play with now (at -30) so hopefully I don't get bumped this week.
