When we do "The Players" tourney as a major I'd be willing to toss in 25k to the tourney prize pool if you want to name it "The Players" sponsored by Brighttail. My only request is that it would run from the actual Thursday of the tournament to Sunday so we can play each round one day as we watch it on TV. I will reserve it especially for you, but have to agree 4 days is a bit long for a tourney , not til may I will chew on it for a bit.

I like the quick pace of the events, gives me some fun rounds to play on different courses. Plus, we're going to get plenty of rounds @ the stadium course in tour play (assuming that's what you're talking about?). Just my $0.02 I had figured majors would be played in four rounds, and The Players is considered the fifth major, but this society may be setup only to allow four majors and that is fine. I too like the two quick rounds, but I do prefer the four for majors. It allows me to have an off round and come back with three strong.

Damnit! Why did I give all the cash away without some sort of overt public acknowledgement....stupid me..... lol but this is a cool little storyline - you guys who finish toward the top of the leaderboards here need to pony up and start kicking in your fake money...and I'm not saying that because I currently have none, but because it's the moral thing to do...clearly.

Yippee, I just played my best round ever on TGC2. I shot -14 (57) in the 2nd round of the The Maghreb Imperial Tournament. The drinks are on me in the clubhouse

Wow.Just completed round 1 at Fort Lonesome Bay.It was a great challenging course to be sure. Of course I had to make it even more challenging by hitting a whopping 33% of fw.I can't even blame that on the driver as I don't think I hit it.Combine that with 33% Gir and my -2 was really fortunate. Back to the range after a much needed smoke.

It is a thinker and can't wait for the 18 hole version.

Well that was pretty horrendous. First round I lipped out for birdie on 1, double bogeyed on 2 after being short of the green and needing 2 chips to get on, was short of the green on 5 and my ball rolled back about 40 yards, was short of the green on 6 and bounced backwards into a bunker and bogeyed. 3-putt bogey on 7. Ended up even for the first round after all that.

Got better from there, outside of 4 or 5 times I came up a foot short on an approach and bounced back into a bunker. Was tied at the end of the third round at -9, got to -12 in the fourth round and then I missed an 8 foot birdie on 6, hooked it into the woods on 7 and lipped out a par putt. Birdied 8 to get back within 1. Put my second shot into the heavy rough on 9 but had a decent shot to set up a heavily breaking 14 footer to tie the lead, but I hit to too hard and finished 1 back at -12.

I'm back from travel, I'll be getting back into the golf thingie in a day or so. I got my GPU back from the repair shop and i have to refit it with the waterblock and refill the loop. The new GPU tho is awesome. I can't complain about FPS anymore it seems.
