Is there a green on this course where the beads are correct? Jeez. 3 lip-outs on the front 9 and 3 other putts I missed by inches, and really only one of them was the green grid at all accurate. Ended up getting angry and starting missing my shots. Tried a pitch out of the bunker on 10, supposedly 55 yard max, 50-70% lie, hit it dead straight, went 10 yards. Then I lipped out the chip, and at that point I just about had enough. Ouch but you still scored well, angry golf is not good golf! Breath deep Exactly. Especially since this course is used for next weeks pga and world tours. So you get to play it some more 😛

Matched Ron's 2nd round 61 to finish up at -24. If I can go through the upcoming WT events with similar stats as these 2 rounds - notably, 1.17 putts/hole with 77% 1-putt percentage and 100% scrambling - I'll be thrilled. Really fun to have some more involvement in this society and keeping up with others play in this thread, and well played to all, that's a long, tough track.

I had a rough round1 but a great 60 in round2. I have some renewed confidence heading into the world/pga event this week

Yeah when I was down 3 shots going into the second round, I knew I'd need to throw up a 58 or better to have a chance. Just couldn't do it. Well played. BTW one of us still has a green jacket.

Couple of things: Congrats to B.Smooth13 for the win RTJ Golf Trail-Ross Bridge, edging out Brighttail 3 strokes. The Golf Guru's have not fixed the infinite bug of closing out that round, so I have sent the Admins a message over in the HB Studio forum to have a look see, so that all will get coins deserved at some point today or tomorrow. Next up just finish my round at Israeli National @ Negev Valley by coruler2 . This is a great looking course and really enjoyed my rounds and is a good fit for all golfing styles. I am pleased to have hosted it and I hope all players will remember to rate his course. Good luck to all who play.

I enjoyed the course and rated it 5 stars. I didn't enjoy my swing as it's completely gone with 53% fairways hit and rated it 1 star.I scored way better than I deserved for round 1 but it's back to the driving range before attempting round 2. Best of luck to all and thanks to the designer coruler2

8 full fledged lip-outs in 36 holes is never going to be a great score, but that's golf.
More importantly, lovely course Dale. Had some fun shots, thought the little details you had about added a lot to the feel of the environment (rock outlined walkways, e.g.), and the chosen colors with your planting made for a really nice visual contrast - great job, I"m sure you'll do well in the contest.

The next 2 tournaments are 2 new courses by 2 seasoned designers SAM (Sam) The Maghreb Memorial and Doume6307 (Doume.Bois) Fort Lonesome Bay. These are 2 fairly new courses and when I set the had no players as of yet. I did not bother to test these courses as I am familiar with both their style of design and know they should be top notch courses. Hope the players take the time to rate the courses for the designer's sake and of course if you like them enough then favorite them as well.. Happy Monday and enjoy your rounds regardless of where you are playing.

Thanks for the kind words & heads up Carol.... Not had any feedback (other than in my WIP thread) on The Maghreb Imperial as yet so looking forward to finding out how it's received. Good luck to all your society members. SAM

Thanks Carol
Fort Lonesome Bay is a quick and short design. By the way, as I currently turn it into a 18 hole course, feedback would be welcome on those first 9 holes. Have fun everybody !

Tried to blow through this course as I have a busy week in front of me. Lost my swing early into the second round. Put 3 in the water and pulled a hammie so I withdrew. Good luck all.

Ah.. did not realize was a Par 3 so I went back and changed the settings to 4 rounds all pins. Should be fun easy and relaxed rounds right ? lol !!
