Please check schedule to be sure I picked the right course lol !! You've got it right đź‘Ť I've just been playing it - it's the nicest looking recreation without doubt - and just as accurate as this years TGCT choice. I've joined the society today, so I can play the event while watching the real thing Looking forward to more Augusta pain...

Is this an open society? I’m trying to find another one to join if that’s cool. Yes open to anyone no join fee.

So 13th hole of the fourth round, I pulled it too much on my drive and hit the trees, ended up in the creek. Third shot, I hit a ridiculous 5 wood hook hook around the trees, cleared the creek, and put it to 11 feet. Then I missed the birdie putt.
Anyway, played alright, shot a -43 overall, but I left a lot out there. Second round I managed to 3-putt from 8 feet, missed a 7 footer and a 9 footer, lipped out 2 more putts, and nearly had to take a third chip on the 7th (my second chip just barely stayed up the hill). Fourth round I played the par 5s like garbage, -1 for the round. Probably had 15 shots that I was inches from holing out but didn't get any to go in, even short chips, until the 12th in the 4th round when I sank a chip.

I plan to play in more events...usually I avoid societies because of the rampant cheating I've seen across them, but there's good members here and it's well run...so expect to see my name some more!

Great shooting looks like you might take this one! I did not fair so well, but then again I never do in my own society.. it's ok but sheesh someday I will play well.

So B.Smooth13 suggested I come join the society and in fact he and I played the first two rounds of the masters together. We were so tired of the Augusta version we had to play in TGCT we were looking to play the old, Magnolia. He streamed the first two rounds and he beat me in the first round. I came back with a 58 in the second round where I was hitting just about every putt I tried. It felt good. I was one stoke behind Gemini after two. It was a lot of fun. I don't play a lot of streams and it was good to see some folks stop in and say hi. Even Smurf came by. Played round three and four today. Round three was solid but I missed a lot of opportunities. At the end of 3 I believe I was tied with Gemini, then I saw warhawk137 post his -43. Round four started with 2 birdies and a string of pars. I came into the 8th needing to make a move and got lucky skipping it over the mound in front and rolling back to within 6 feet off the mound to the right. Eagle on #8 and birdie on #9 put me -5 at the turn, six shots back. I rallied with -8 on the back nine including two huge putts on 17 and 18 that put me at -45. I honestly was not expecting to shoot so well, so consistently. It doesn't happen much. I think where I turned a corner was the putting. Smooth and Serenity gave me a couple suggestions with the worm cam on PC that has really clicked. BTW Smooth suggested that if did well I would give 1/2 of my winnings back to the society, which sound fair since i came into it as at major with no qualifying or anything. Seems like a nice group here. I look forward to playing more.

So how do people cheat outside chipping on the green? More to the point why would you it's a game Taking advantage by adjusting mouse dpi so that you hit dead straight or using a controller that has a tight dead zone which gives the same effect. I have banned another player well known for his straight shooting. He is sitting on my leader board and completed both rounds, that is his last pass in my society. If he reads this he can contact me via steam as an friend invite was sent to discuss, don't accept it and the ban stays in place. If he reads this he will know of whom I am speaking about.

Thank you very much for the kind words. It was good to see you when you stopped in Smooths stream the other day. Just finished my rounds for the next tournament. The front nine is so much easier than the back, so take advantage when you can. I shot -13, -12. There are some high winds that makes driving a challenge. I found the bunker/rough more than once.

Great shooting as always Brighttail .With you playing here now as well as coruler2 and B.Smooth13 the bar has certainly been raised. It's ok,I'm quite happy coming in 5th or so

Bit of a wacky start for me. First hole I had a slow downswing on my approach, put my chip 15 feet long, and 3-putted for a double bogey (lip-out from 5 feet). Second hole I chipped in for eagle. Third hole I lipped-out a hole-in-one. Lipped out a 9 foot birdie on 4.
I then lipped out from 7 feet on 7. So if you're counting that's 4 lip-outs in 7 holes.
Got better from there and I sank an eagle on 18 to pull to 1 shot back at -12 (I was -8 on the back 9), but I really could have grabbed the bull by the horns here and didn't.
