If this society is taking strong action against cheaters then I will happily join again as I'm in two great societies with no cheaters. The Open 2.0 society and The PGA PROFESSIONAL Society. I am trying but other eyes r needed to alert me of possible people taking advantage.

So, I'm curious. My platform is xboxone. Standard xbox controller. I don't cheat. I never would cheat. I don't know HOW to cheat. I shoot shots just like this. Not all the time but once in a while. Would you ban me for making a straight shot like this, or is it a matter of this type of shot happening EVERY time? These guys do it EVERY single shot Jason - and there are others who have shots that are exactly one pixel to the right or left of that, every time. Those are the ones who are banned. No rob4590 / moneyman273 , I know the occaisonal shot that goes st8t, but you do not do it off of every tee, every fairway, every chip pitch or flop shot. That is the difference. Another is the fact you have passed the TGC tours API. For those who are coming into my society, st8t shooting every shot to pin and NOT on TGC tour then I have doubts. I will give every person an opportunity to speak with me via steam chat to discuss. Don't accept me then bye bye. I had a very friendly conversation with a player whom I banned, after many discussions I felt that he deserved another chance after explaining DPI on mouse settings, use of controller with dead zone center all time. HE took the time to contact me and discuss this and try to work around, that to me was clearly a person who did not know, and wanted to fix in order to compete fairly. This is all I ask. I do not like banning people. BUT I want those who win, win on merit, fair play and skill. I am sure there are alot of dodgy players out there just wanting to play but I am just trying to make it a fair fight for everyone. I may never be as good as some players Like Big Smoothie, Warhawk, You, Vixen Vikki, Gemini, etc but I sure as hell try and when I come in with a low score yippee for me and when I suck ass I know it was because I sucked ass. Just so you know the person I banned shot off tee Str8t, next shot same next shot same and that happened for 4 holes, and trust me I was not the only person following said person. I like to have witnesses. It is a decision made collectively.

There's a guy called WildDaBeast or something. He always appears on top of most leaderboards. I sent him a message to ask him if he plays on TGC TOUR. I quite happily insinuated that he cheats. No reply. That works for me. ๐๐๐๐๐ I will never accuse anyone of cheating, it is against TGC forum rules, but I thank you for the information and will keep a watchful eye out.

I know it's against the rules but I'm not giving a f#ck on this one gents. When somebody scores between 13 under to 18 under regularly on any course I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to work out that something is amiss. It's the greatest shame and stain of gaming generally and a sad fact of life that there will always be cheats. I don't think it's possible to ever make a golf game where it won't be manipulated by somebody somewhere. I do not understand the psychology behind it. Where's the pleasure in knowing that you have not done it deservingly. I never chip on greens and play by the rules. My best score is probably only 7 or 8 under on a rare occasion but that works great for me because I feel rewarded and if I get an even par on a course like Augusta or Arnold Palmer Bay hill, hard courses I feel positive and it feels realistic because that's how it might happen in real life most likely. Sorry for the rambling on but it's something I'm very passionate about and I will be happy to join this society in light of your new announcements. Thankyou ๐๐๐๐

Sorry for the rambling on but it's something I'm very passionate about and I will be happy to join this society in light of your new announcements. Thankyou ๐๐๐๐ Well let me ring on this a bit. It is very possible for anyone to shoot those scores given the fact a person takes the time to know the clubs, know what adding or minus loft will do to your club with the elevation. Knowing what the wind will do whether it be behind you , in your face or side winds and aiming properly with that knowledge. It is important to try and read the greens , whether the ball will roll towards the pin or roll past, playing for the break in the green on or going st8t to the pin. It is all in practice and memory and determination and yes luck, but it can be done on any given course by any golfer. And that is because it is a game and not real golf. So it is not perfect but one can certainly play well just like in any other game as long as you know your equipment and your capabilities.

But taking all that in to account the mathematical probability performing at that level regularly on any course is pretty much improbable even in a golf game

Agree firmly with everything Carol has said - and bravo for saying it - with 1 exception... str8t > st8t.....say it out loud and it makes more sense

I am considering Augusta National ('18 WorldTour) for our next tourney as a Major Event, but concerned everyone and their brother will be setting this in society plus the fact it is also currently running on the World Tour Event. So I would like a few of you to weigh in here to help me decide yes or no to setting this event starting tomorrow 4/6. I would set for 4 rounds-with a 50,000 bonus up for grabs. The event would run you 1,000 coins, but you would get back 500+ and The prize pool could go pretty high depending on the amount of players who compete. You Can just respond yes or no to the event and I will make my decision by end of day. Thanks in advance for those who will respond.

No to Augusta - yes to the newest version of Magnolia (2017 pins?) Everyone can play Augusta in the Special events society, but Magnolia can only be played (on the older version) in TST. Be good to play it with grids on
