I have to admit John wears on me a bit, but I love the sound effects in the game so much that I rarely mute the TV. Something about that sound when you catch a pure 4 Iron off the fairway...fantastic!

I usually turn down the commentary, because I get mad when he says my drive is in the fairway and it ends up in the rough.
I'm not falling for that anymore.

I always laugh at the "You should be able to two putt from here" line.
When I'm looking at a 12' birdie putt.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, John.
I completely enjoy the commentary and have never thought about turning it off.
My next favourite is "That was going to be excellent, and I wanted you to have excellence".
Well sure, but if you hadn't jinxed me with the two putt comment, maybe I would have had excellence.
