I understand that, but I see people complaining about being realistic and theres a fine line between tough and trolling. I have never seen a PGA tour player hit a full wedge shot into a green and completely spin it off the entire green. It is brutally obvious that you've never seen the real life Masters before.

Really wish I was playing this....got bumped up to the WEB tour and can't say I'm excited even though I guess I should be. I don't see me winning at all in that seeing how I never won in CC-A. Anyways...Augusta... I love this course period. I played the course probably 75% more than any other course on TGC1. Felt like I knew it like the back of my hand on TGC1. finally shot -17 under one time. avg about -8 to -9 The new game TGC2 and this course being tweaked with much faster greens makes it unbearable at times, but there isn't anything more rewarding than knowing you shaped a shot perfect and dialed it in for an easy birdie. Just wish the tourney atmosphere was there even though the stands and cameras are. The game is irritating at times...spin..no spin...chip run out...chip check up....fast swing perfect swing...randomn bounces ...not hitting out of the rough... Trust me I've wanted to throw my controller through the wall more times than I can count and the wife could vouch for that. But alas I keep coming back for the purity and challenge that is!
Good luck fellas for your own bragging rights to others and most importantly yourselves.

Augusta proving to be a monster for me yet again. 78, 80, 81 so far. The greens kill me, my approaches, if they are even slight off gives me the bad bounces and instead of being on, I’m 25-30yrds off. Such a hard course! Haven’t had scores like these in a very very long time.

"Everything is still standard CC for this event - ......"
Including my play - awful to say the least.

As someone also employed in the golf industry, I find your statement about spinning balls back off greens...interesting? That's actually something the game doesn't have enough of IMO, the penalty of over spinning full wedge shots into greens. It's why you rarely see the pro's grab the shortest wedge they can and take a 100% full swing to get the full carry distance - those shots will rip back off of the green pretty easily. Hell, even I spin shots back off of greens at times...it's really not a rare thing at all, I don't think.

I agree there. The reason you don't see it more on tour is those guys are smart enough to not hit full wedges into greens, especially quick and slopey greens. (I don't think "slopey" is a word lol) You will see them dial down their swing with a bigger club to hone in the amount of spin they want to allow the ball to settle. I've attended many PGA Tournament rounds (majors included), more than the average person, and I've seen guys spin it back off the greens multiple times if they are going after a tough pin position. It's not that rare. In my opinion it is realistic that if you hit a full wedge shot onto certain greens at Augusta the ball can spin right off the green, especially when you spin it right onto a slope. Just have to adjust your strategy. Here's a good example:

I do apologize for my sarcastic tone, but if you've seen the greens at Augusta, you know that there are slopes and false fronts where if you hit a 3 iron into a green the ball still may roll back off of it. It's not absurd to see this in the game. The Magnolia course is very life-like.

So I finished the tournament at -21. Very, very challenging course. 78,80,81,71,My last round i was 5 over going onto to 10. Took par, then the birdies started coming and even got an ACE on 16! Didn’t know how to record the shot, but it’s there if you want to play my ghost! Just when I thought this game hated me....lol
Sorry last round was a 72
