I apologize for the lack of updates in the OP about participants, I’ve been traveling for work and been involved in some big deals that have taken my attention.
I will update the OP with confirmed participants, and who knows, maybe a little more information about the structure of the contest. 😳😉😜

So far we've had 22 different people comment on this thread, with 12 of them committing to be in the contest. I will be updating the OP tonight with who I have down as registered, and who I have down as a maybe (a wussy). LOL
Again, for those awesome designers that are only interested in winning, I'll say it again, BE BRAVE! You will have full control over your design the whole time in this event, so no matter what the rules of the contest are, you are not under any more "risk" to your reputation in this than in any other contest. The fun of this contest is about the creativity of the event and the camaraderie of the community. If that's not something that interests people, there's not much I can do about that. Hopefully this is an enjoyable opportunity for designers of any level! That's my goal.

You can put me down as a confirmed entrant, Eric. I just have to add a few off-course objects and playtest my current project and then I'll be ready to start with the contest entry.

Thinking you guys should let me use Old Buckhead since it will be middle June before I can [plant this fugger mucker. only leaves me about a month to design a course to compete with you beasts.  |

Got some great advice in Griff’s stream last night, and I’m feeling really inspired for both this one and his contest. Be scared... (actually don’t, I won’t win lol)

I’ll let griff explain if he’d like, but I need to find a course I enjoy, rather than forcing myself into it. Had I just put an Ohio course in the winter theme? The planting would’ve been much more bearable. But I forced myself into a mountain environment, which left me with a mostly flat place to sculpt from. Plain and simple, I didn’t enjoy putting the details into FCC. But that enough about me for now... lol |
